That sucks. do you have to start the game over?

I just have to play this rather boring semi-dungeon over again. Sigh.
Luckily no, just the level. I was only about 15 mins in luckily.
What is that from?
Couldnt tell ya. I dont know what Operation Darkness is, but picture pack 4 had a picture of an evil nazi, a zombie, and a skeleton. So I couldnt resist.

I can't wait to buy an HDTV. But I've gotta graduate from college, find an apartment across the country and get there first.
Both look like shit.
Are you kidding me? I first saw the trailer for the Comebacks before Balls of Fury and I laughed more during that trailer than I did the entire movie.
That's a nice fucking TV. I'd buy it if I had a little more spare cash kicking around.
Yea, it has been the one I have had my eye on for about a month or two now (ever since Phillips stopped carrying refurb CRT's). I figure if I am going to upgrade might as well get something nice and something I can use with everything (part of the reason I don't want a 720p set is because I want to be able to play PC games on it and have them look worth a fuck).
What's with all the hate for Texas in here?
Oh, it's really jealousy.
Yeah, so jealous I declined job offers just because I didn't want to live in TX.

Casey -- is that TV $990 regularly and then you can use the 12% reward zone coupon? Cause holy fuck, that might entice me just a little too much...

Naw it is regularly 1199. It is going to be on sale for 990.

I need to check my birthday rewards zone coupon better though since I don't think there are any exlcusions like there are with the other one (at least I didn't see any mentioned when I glossed over it). If it would work, I think I would try and get it.
Jeez, seeing the excess on zew and liquid's borders make me want to fix them.
Would you kindly? :)

I know the 12% off works on HDTVs -- just don't know if it'd work on one that's already on sale...

$871.20.

Damn.

I thought about doing liquid's.

Didn't notice any one zew's.

You may want to check TFN's -- I did a fast hackjob on his, since you weren't around.

There's not a lot that can be done with mine... but if you have any interest in making what little bit should be transparent transparent, i wouldn't say no. ;)
... BS reference intended?
Actually, yes.

But seriously, it'd be awesome if you did, as it bothers me and I'm sure I'd screw it up if I could even muster the gumption to try and do it myself.
Yeah, so jealous I declined job offers just because I didn't want to live in TX.
Texas does suck, now that you mention it. :whistle2:k ;)

I've noticed the majority of OTTers live in either Texas or Michigan.
Are you kidding me? I first saw the trailer for the Comebacks before Balls of Fury and I laughed more during that trailer than I did the entire movie.
Seriously? When I first saw it, I would've bet that it's name was Sports Movie.

How does a PlumeNoir spend a Saturday evening?

By taking an old PS2 slim that was thrown against a wall and with scotch tape, tin foil, solder and sweat get it to power up.

I've shorted the switches, so I can keep the lid open (or the case top removed) and get the laser moving. I think the spindle motor is shot though - I can't get anything to spin up.

I'm considering getting a broken one off ebay cheap and swap out the drive/ laser assembly.

No hurry, as my other PS2 slim works fine. It's just been a pet project to dick around with when I'm avoiding doing other work I have on my plate.

Rocko,

I'm sad I have to share a state with dethbulge too. :[

Frosty, Brakdaddy fixed mine. It looks 1,000 times better than your shitty job.... ;)
Go ahead and fix the excess, I'm too lazy to do it myself at the moment.
Oh, I see it now... doesn't look to bad... mostly back of the head/neck, right?
so there's this guy that i work with. his girlfriend just started working at the shop too. she looks WAY too much like your g/f. every time i see her, i wanna shout "your tits are all over the intarwebz!" but i refrain cuz i know it's not really her.
They're not everywhere, just on CAG. :D

My uncle smashed the shit out of my copy of SMB3 back in the day... fucker managed to superglue it back together and it worked, so while I wasn't happy, at least I wasn't SMB3-less.

Your open top duct taped PS2 slim made me think of it.

Also, that makes me think of the douchebaggery on the PS Underground where it refuses to accept the serial of my PS2.
thats what YOU think:roll:
Its not THAT big of a deal, she had 'em on her myspace anyways for her fwends to see. ^_____________^

i believe the nip-slips are against myspace TOS.

Plume, what the fuck were you talking about with the extension of the summer 5 free blueray offer? I'm curious to fuel my rage with the details. You got a link?

For the record, I didn'y use duct tape, just scotch. I didn't want to bring out the big guns yet.

Smashing the SMB3 was a dick move - what inspried that?

Your smashed NES game reminds me of a similar story. My buddy and I found a gold NES Zelda in the street smashed up. That was not long after it had come out, so we were surprised and felt sad for whomever lost their game.

I took it home and tried to repair it, but never did get that one working...

On a different note:
I'll spare the details of the conversation I just had with Pixie, but suffice it to say, I am now of the opinion that "hollistic medicine" is just another term for "putting food up someone's butt."

Sweet, thanks.

a "better" example of holistic medicine is that a person with seasonal allergies eats a teaspoon of honey a day because honey is a raw, unprocessed food made directly from the nectar and pollen of all sorts of seasonal plants. by ingesting small quantities over a long period of time, it helps your body build a resistence to the allergin.
