a "better" example of holistic medicine is that a person with seasonal allergies eats a teaspoon of honey a day because honey is a raw, unprocessed food made directly from the nectar and pollen of all sorts of seasonal plants. by ingesting small quantities over a long period of time, it helps your body build a resistence to the allergin.
True...but Pix was telling me stories (including the one about the guy that was trying to cure Pix's granma's Seliac's Disease) and I have heard so many that involve food colonics. I am beginning to theorize if you have a special fetish, you go into Holistic medicine to feed your desires...

"The scenario takes place in my colon..."
I can has cheezburger?
Stop! Pixie has been on that all night and I want a cheeseburger so bad...

I STILL can't fucking eat real food...

Teehee Plume, I'm about to get some Whataburger. Double meat, double cheez, grilled onions, toasted wheat buns, jalapenos and bacon. Yumm m m m m m m m m m m m m m m.
YOU CAN HAVE MY PEEPEE!
Can you make my av a bit glossier like L's?

The new lot of movies doesn't suck nearly as much as the old ones.

The Prestige
Wild Hogs
Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse Of The Black Pearl

Swordfish
Superman
Full Metal Jacket

Stir of Echoes
American Psycho
The Devil's Rejects

The Patriot
S.W.A.T.
Ultraviolet

Chain Reaction
Omen 666
Flight of the Phoenix
Species
Hart's War
The Last Waltz
???

The Prestige would be the only keeper of the bunch(for me) though. FMJ would be as well, but I think that's the lame original version and now the newer remastered one that's coming out. I'd probably just settle for fleabaying them for another $50 off.

I felt like spicing up the gloss a bit. If you want it, take it. If not, whatever.
Just watched 300...starts out strong, but goes out with a whimper. Still neat, tho.
Get the rifftrax. It's not bad. Starts slow though. first 15 is mediocre but it takes off as soon as the fighting starts..
American Psycho is the only movie you mention I would have sprung for.

::Heads off to check the list::
Some decent choices on that list... Pirates 2, American Psycho would be about the 2 I'd really go for... I guess I'd be forced to take Full Metal Jacket, The Patriot, and whichever entry in group 5 that had the highest resale value.
The new lot of movies doesn't suck nearly as much as the old ones.
I do not concur with this statement. I'd gladly have taken Pirates 2 over Invincible... and American Psycho over Underworld/Babel, but I potentially have 4 keepers instead of maybe 2.

Who was the genious to take out backward compatability on the 40Gig PS3?

Nice, just finished two hours of TF2 and turned on the phillies game in time to watch them tie it up.

TF2 is really greta with 32. Especially on Duxtbolw. I just did that and our team won all three matches. Two on offense and One on Defense.

Here are some of the achievemenbts in the game. A few might be on the 360 version...

SentreyGun - 10 SG kills with same Sg.
Nemesis - Five revenge killings
Hard to Kill - Five kills without dying.
Master of Disguise - Trick enemy med to heal you as a spy.
Friend - Play with seven friends.
Dynasty - Win 20 games.
Hardcore - 1000 Kills
Powermonger - Win 2fort without allowing opponent to cap.
Lightning Offense - Win Well in five mins.
Relentless - Win Hydro with no enemy caps
Inpenetrable Defense - No caps in Dustbowl
Impossible Defense - No caps in Gravel Pit
Head of the Class - Play all classes in the same round
Worlds Traveler - Complete a round on all maps.
Team Doctor - Heal 25,000
Flamethrower - Ignite 5 enemies in 30 seconds
Grey Matter - Get 25 Headshots.

If the 360 maxes at 16 that'll be abummer. 32 man games rock. Especially on dustbwl. it's spam city!

Just beat Heavenly Sword.

It's epic in its cinematicy goodness, however, combat is still just *mash*mash*mash*

I liked the combat and thought it was pretty fun. The game reminded me a lot of Onimusha, which is quite similar IMO.

Also anyone with a triple needs to get Weeds immediately. I am going to order the second season before I go to bed.

Is it really that bad? I've heard it's deep if you want it to be... much like GoW.
I looked on kotaku and engadget... and glanced at the forums here, but figured i'd just ask plume the next time he was around. i'm lazy like that. hallmark of a good programmer, y'know? ;)
Heh...that about sums it up.

That reminds me of a programming course I took in college. Normally, the dean taught it, but he was out that semester having surgery, so they brought in someone who had never taught before to teach a second year VB class. She rarely used the text book, so we had no idea what she was referring to (Year 1 and 2 used the same book, so you were building on what you learned), but instead assigned things that we had to go out and get different reference material not mentioned in the syllibus. (I fucking hate classes that make you buy expensive books and rarely use them...)

All but about 6 people dropped the class. I wish I did too. (She was my only B, plus she completely screwed up grading my final exam so that it was a failing grade. Thankfully, I got her to rescore it so that it was the B it really was. And this wasn't a matter of arguing over being incorrect - she simply added up the total wrong. )

The best thing about the class: We had a guy in there that was a programmer. He failed the class. We'd sit on break having a smoke and he'd get so frustrated, saying things like, "Why does she want us to do this, when it makes more sense to do this instead?" or "Nobody declares arrays like that! She is just adding more trouble!"

Well aren't there different stances and stuff that will allow you to do different moves?
Well aren't there different stances and stuff that will allow you to do different moves?
Yeah, I'm trying to get all of the combos down so I can start playing it the way I played GoW. Learn the moves, then do them as you please instead of just jamming on triangle for 10 seconds then pressing the occassional square. It just makes you feel like you're making use of the combat and not just button mashing.

Sounds complicated. I think I'll pass. Now does the triple have any baby games I can? And Harry Potter doesn't count. I'm already getting that for my Kid-tendo.

PSN store has stuff like super rub-a-dub, fl0w, and superstardust HD.

I wasn't really crazy about GoW either.

There are a lot of combos you can do. There are 3 stances, aerial combos and finishers. If you want to spend hours memorizing attack patterns, you can use the right combo in the right instance, however, I found /\ /\ [] [] or /\ /\ [] /\ in the power stance worked for just about everyone. Super moves are pretty brutal, but the gauge fills painfully slow.

It could be a very deep game, but I just wanted to beat it and move on. I got about 100/130 medals on my first play though, thats good enough for me.

The best part of the game is Kai. Her cross bow is awesome because you can move the arrows in flight by tilting the controller.

It's hard to believe 140 people spent 5 years of their lives building a game I beat in an afternoon.

Anyone know how to NOT get the fees deducted from the funds you receive on PayPal? I'm trying to sell Carnival Games (CML if interested in details) and when someone pays me the $25, I want $25 in my account.. not the $22 or $23 and some change.

Isn't it about how the buyer pays, right?
Loved that movie.
That is the only M Night movie I liked.

(Waits to see if Chika is around to make obvious comment...;) )

I liked signs UNTIL they showed the gorramn aliens. They could've done the whole movie without ever having shown the damn things in any way, and it would've been an exceptional movie.

I don't think there are fees if you don't have a business account, but then you're limited to 500 in transactions a month and other BS. Either make them pay more or send you cash.

Eh. I never got why people said Signs was so good. I know i have mentioned this, but when Pix and I saw this in the theatre, she wanted to leave halfway through, and I said loudly, "No, if there is a chance this family is going to get killed, I am not going to miss it!" I had people around me laughing and agreeing. Honestly, I hated all the characters; I couldn't find anything redeeming, let alone likable. Plus, they all seemed "flat" to me...

And the end? It's the fricking Wizard of Oz syndrome! It'd be like Superman flying to a planet covered in kryptonite and then acting surprised when it hurts him!

I just cannot buy any story where aliens are vulnerable to water. I'd like to think they'd hover in space and at least consider the option of finding a less-wet planet.

If I was looking for a website that was talking about how good/horrid the very concept of achievements were for xbox 360....what do you think I should type into google?

I have been searching and only turned up like 4 articles.

I liked the claustrophobia of the movie, being told from such a narrow point of view. It was interesting, IMHO.
