Provided they are in good condition, of course. The reason I put this thread of is because I see a bunch of morons saying sh*t like, "If I don't sell this game for $30 by tomorrow morning, I'm trading it in," as though they think we're stupid. If you don't get $30, you're going to trade it for $10 in store credit? What a f*cking joke. If you're seriously gonna trade a game in, PM me first, and I'll probably give you a better deal.

if i made more money i would do the same as lain21us here. good luck with getting their games lain21us. some people just don't realize that they will get much less trading it in than they ask for on here. i work at gamestop and i see people that get like $.50 for a game on a trade-in and i just recommend trying to sell it to a friend or something. the other day this girl came in with her gba (not sp) with like 2 accessories and she was going to get like $25 for it in store credit, so i told her to just try and get the word around that she was selling it, seeing as i payed $45 for one from the TRU deal, since my friend got the last one in richmond and he had offers for $45 after i offered that. so before people try taking them in, try and sell to a friend or someone on here first.
Uhh...would that include trade in deals? There's that trade in 5 and get 20 more credit thing.
Lol, I don't think that's going to happen.

I'm not really expecting to get anything, just trying to make a point. I'm sick of hearing people lie like that. If the game is worth more than 5 bucks, I'll probably pay for shipping. Bottom line, I'll pay more than these f*cking shit video game stores that you traitors say you're going to trade your gold to, and I'll make sure they get a good home instead of getting bought by some rich little kid's mommy and destroyed. If you're really serious about selling your games off for pennies on the dollar just because you can't get full price, you should at least give CAG's the chance to beat EB and GameStop.

This also goes for the assholes who, for weeks after the Circuit City sale, were sitting there saying they were going to return their games to CC if people didn't buy them at $10-25 a pop.

If somebody didn't want to buy it, and they return it to CC, then someone else gets a chance to get the game for cheap.

my babbages offered me 31 bucks store credit for my WWE gamecube day of game lets see 20% more be 6.60

so your offering 37.60 for the game :)

this open game alone no book no box nothing but the cd not even a case to hold it in

This guy must be one of them rich kids if he can afford to do this, cause if he pays for shipping he is out that money and also out the money of the difference of the game. This sounds very fishy to me, like almost to good to be true

Almost everyone here is COMPLETELY missing the point of the post.

Lain, what about the people who say "This is going on ebay if I don't sell it" and yet they have the same trade list a month later

Something like this would best work out for middle of the road and older, cheaper games. Like if the game store is only going to pay you $5 or $7 for a game. But if the game is new, and the stores are going to pay a fairly high price, very few people if anyone on this site is going to give you anymore for it. A little while back I wanted to sell off a splinter cell pandora tomorrow, riddick, and something else new, and I got fair prices (like around 25-30 for each game) plus 30% extra for trading in 3 games. I am not complaining because I am the same way but usually on this site no one would ever really pay more than $25/30 for a used game, because you can always find the game on sale somewhere for 40, then someone can price match, GGC, etc. etc. You also have to keep in mind that it's sometimes easier to go into a store than deal with someone on the internet who could potentially rip you off (it happens.)

So yeah definately try to sell to others rather than getting nothing from GS/EB, but if the game is new enough you can get a fair price from them.

Hey,

Speaking of price-matching, I was in a Game Crazy and they price-matched a Best Buy ad for this kid.

Does anybody know if they will price-match EB Games' trade-in offer (Extra $20 for 5 games)?

Those are the people I'm talking about. :D

Okay, I got some people e-mailing me about this. A couple people were serious, but I got one guy flat out offer me Manhunt, Samurai Warriors, and Goblin Commander for $75. Didn't even mention my post. I'd like to make it clear, I'm not sitting here with fifty thousand dollars just looking to buy stuff. I'm not rich. I just payed my college tuition out of pocket and don't have much left over. I can't afford to buy every game you guys have to sell, and I'm not offering $37 for some WWE game. I'm just asking that, if you're going to trade some games in, offer them to your fellow CAGers first.

I saw a kid yesterday trading in 4 decent PS1 games, all mint, for about $7. I offered him $9 and we both went home happy. If you've really sunk that low and need the money that bad, let me beat the price and you can make a little bit extra.
