Alright, I'm under the impression that there has been a reprint of Ico! I was at my local Best Buy today, and they had around 15 copies at $20 a pop. Now, these weren't there a week or two ago. Not only that, there hasn't been a copy of Ico in that place in 2 or 3 years. And now they have a whole stack? Anyone have a confirmation on this reprint?

BTW, it was regular cover, so its not a GH.

It could be like Skies of Arcadia for GC, where there was just a warehouse filled, and then they dropped the price

Unless there was a hidden stash, I would have to agree. I have been seeing this game all over the place lately.

Yeah, the same thing happened at the Best Buy here at school. When I was first looking for Ico, I couldn't find it new anywhere B&M. I finally buy it from a user here, and now it's all over the place new.

It seems like a reprint, but I don't think it is. Only BB seems to have tons right now, and I think it's just them clearing out old stock. They've done it with Drakan and Kessen II, among other games, where one day the store has none in-stock, but they have tons the next. BTW, Ico should only be $15 at BB, not $20.

My KB got about 8 copies in for $14.99, along with Drakan
Well, I have no experience with this game, but everyone says it's great. If I see it, should I get it?
It's definitely an awesome game. Although I don't know if I'd say it's $50 awesome (which is what I paid for it)

I got ICO 2 weeks ago at Fry's for 10 bucks, brand new of course. It was a decent game, and kinda "cute" too. Not for the fan of anything action though.

I woulda paid $50 for this game. One of the coolest games I've ever played. Gameplay is similar to "Prince of Persia" as mentioned, but it is far more atmospheric. Truly an excellent experience. But no, if you only get off on running and shooting, you won't dig it. It's methodical and deliberately paced.

that's more than likely the case.

The Best Buy in Stone Mountain, GA had a ton of them for $14.99. I would have to put Ico in my top 10 favorite games of all time. It was really a great game. The visuals, sound, variance in the puzzles, everything was nice. At first I was so annoyed at having to drag the girl everywhere, but somewhere along the way I started to not hate her so much. If you don't have this game, get it now. #-o

Thanks for the heads up - I had heard a lot about this game being a great find - found this thread - drove down to the Best Buy in Charlotte NC about an hour ago and they had 8 copies for $14.99.

Guess I will try it out tonight.

Brad

A near perfect game by anyone's standards.

Most likley a warehouse find -- BB probably picked up a warehouse of overstocks. They did this with WipeOut 3 the year the PS2 came out, and offered them up for $9.99.

It is unlikely it will ever be released as a GH in the US.
