I'd like to transfer saves from my PS2 card to my PC

Best way to do this? I have an X-Port that I used a long time ago, but it doesnt seem to work with the new PSTwo. It wont recognize the disc on my system, and I wasnt able to get it to connect on my friend's modded PSTwo.

So, Im lookin' for something new. Anything out there?
 
The max drive comes with software that you have to use. I wonder if you could use other usb drives as long as you have the software?

I'm in the same situation as the OP; I have the X-Port but I could no longer use it once I got the slim PStwo. I do have a "gigabank" USB flash drive though, so if there was some way to use that, it would be cool.

BTW, does anyone know why exactly the PStwo won't recognize it? Is it the kind of thing that could be bypassed by removing region protection or is it a totally different kind of thing?
