Hey, has anyone ordered xbox magazine from Amazon? Do they actually come with the disc now? It states that the game comes with the disc, but some reviews state it doesn't.

I'm watching the eagles game on DVR delay. The head linesman is one of those famous refs with a good reputation. Black guy with the mustache. But this game his crew is awful.

With 3 minutes left in the fourth they threw a flag and had to take it back because, "There was no delay of game. The crew was slow in setting the ball." Thay've made mistakes all game long.

Bad calls, no calls, bad spots, late spots, bad reviews, etc.

Only a week left in this place, before I go to a different place in Iraq and pack up more stuff for about 2 and a half weeks before flying home. It feels good knowing I'll be home soon, but it is a pain in the ass going through the whole process. It'll be weird being home for the first two weeks or so, but once I'm adjusted I'll definitely enjoy it.
 
I think Avatar will still be in theatres when you get back and Wolve and it is definately worth waiting to see on the big screen, or at least on BluRay with a good HDTV.
 
I can't see how, it's the same story thats been told lots of times, just with a sci-fi setting and cool graphics.

Finally got my 360 issue resolved. And I didn't have to do anything. My dad got me an Arcade for Christmas. Time to transfer licenses or whatever needs to be done to make stuff playable on the new 360. Well that and getting Modern Warfare 2. Then all is well.
 
Heading down to NYC tomorrow. Gonna hit Old Town to get the best bar/restaurant burger in existence, then before I grab the train back I'm gonna hit White Castle and get the best fast food burger in existence. It will be a good day.
 
I'm stuck just outside of Philli for the Christening of my cousin's son. The ceremony was today and my parents, grandmother and I are staying overnight at the Bucks County Sheraton since it's close to my aunt's house. Not only does the toilet run almost non-stop (the handle and flushing mechanism are fucked), the shower doesn't work. The spigot has the diverter on it and the spigot is like an inch out from the wall. Not only is it bordering on flapping in the breeze, the diverter doesn't really work. The water coming out of the shower head is barely more than a dribble. After one complaint about the shower they wanted to switch our room but my grandmother was at my aunt's house and wouldn't know where the new room is (she's not good with things like that). Then, they wanted to send someone up immediately to "fix the problem" even though it needs to be re-soldered but I was still dripping from the pool and buck nekkid trying to shower the chlorine off. i told them i'd deal with a bath and not to bother. An hour ago the toilet started leaking and again they wanted to send someone up to fix it but grandma was already in her nightgown half-asleep. At that point they decided to comp my room. Bonus. I should go drink my $89/night in the bar.
 
i get to drive home in the morning. fun.

everyone else has been asleep for over an hour. i should get to bed, or at least try to sleep since i'm the one that's doing the 3-hour drive.

I thought the age of consent and the minimum age were two different things. Like, if age of consent is 16 then you cannot consent to sex with an adult when under 16, but minimum age is 13, then at 15 you could have sex with, say, a 16 year old.

It depends upon the state- some take into account the age disparity- if a 17 y.o. bangs a 14 y.o. in Georgia it is (or was very recently) a sex crime.

Edit: here is this, and it seems many states do place a limit on age disparity even when both are minors:

Georgia did revise there's because of a recent case involving a HS Senior and freshmen that cost a kid a scholarship and put him on the sex offender registry.

I didn't really want to get into the discussion of Avatar's quality, but since when does the quality of a movie determine how long it stays in theatres?
 
how it should be: Quality = sales = longer time in theaters.
