"If" you are ebaying your pre-order or PS3...

After I have it in my hands. Too risky otherwise. You could end up paying ebay fees on that $1000+ sale that you could be refunding if you don't end up with one on launch.
 
I'm actually thinking about skipping Ebay, and purchasing an ad in the paper, or maybe even posting flyers. People around here have pretty deep pockets. Especially the Holmdel folks. Hell even $2000 would be the smallest possible drop in a bucket for em.

I don't want to sell if for an inflated price but it is one of the only ways, I could get some money for my own and an HDTV.
 
IMO it is gonna be the same thing as the elmo's, waaaay to many auctions yet again. People are just not gonna bid seeing as it is all over the news that they are gonna sell for over $1000 on ebay. Good luck though. ;)

Elmos are still going for around 100 bucks on ebay
