If you are LEFT HANDED and own/have played a DS, how is it?

I'm planning on getting a DS but using the stylus in conjunction with the d-pad makes me nervous. I cannot write with my right hand at all...

Man, that was a great question. I was worried about the same thing, but I never found anybody that was left handed and owned a DS.

Left handed and have had a DS since launch. I grasp it in the middle on the back with my right hand and proceed to piss off Mr. Edgeworth by yelling "Hold It!" with no problems.

Ditto. The only problem might be if you have to quickly switch between the stylus and D-pad for some reason (haven't had to that I recall), otherwise you can just keep your stylus between your fingers if you need to hold the DS with both hands. I've never had any difficulty controlling any of the games I've played.

may games actually have ask you if you are left handed. IF you are still worry, I am right handed and played Wario Ware in left handed mode without any problems.

lefty here - I have not encountered any problems with playing the ds with the stylus in my left hand. Have around 20 ds games so far and no problems - whether its cutting open patients or drawing pac-man - they are all done with southpaw ease.

I have a hard time on some Ouendan songs since my hand covers up the next circle I'm supposed to hit sometimes. No reason to assume it doesn't happen to right-handers though, just noting my left hand covers some stuff.

I'm left-handed and it really hasn't hindered me in any way. I haven't played a ton of games on it, but there are left-handed modes on a few games, and the other games that I've played made only minor use of the stylus. There's a rare instance where I'll have to switch hands, and hold the DS with my right hand to write something, but that's just a small annoyance.
