If you can ONLY get TWO games this November...

Pretty easy for me... Gears of War and DOAX 2... those were the only ones I was considering getting anyway and DOAX 2 is only a maybe at this point... already got FEAR on the PC so that's not an issue for me.
Dead or Alive X2 is why I bought a 360 in the first place, so everything else is secondary. Other than that, it's Gears of War.
What the fuck?

Gears of War, and Rainbow Six Vegas for me. Those three along with Splinter Cell Double Agent (October) will keep me busy.

Gears of War and Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 (Or Viva Pinata)

But that is all I would really get anyways.
360 doesnt have to many games that interest me right now.

someone needs to go play the original to see how well developed a game it is, even if it didn't include the girls. Do your research seriously ;)

Aha, I was playing. I'm actually picking that up along with GoW for my 2 purchases this month. Just found it funny how that's the reason you bought a 360 considering it will also house GTA4, Halo 3, Mass Effect, GoW, Too Human, etc.
Damn, I forgot about all the Burger King games coming out in November too, I'm definitely in for all three!
You can't have all 3, you can only pick two of the Kings games. :D Just messing.

I'm with the GOW/DOAX2 crowd.

I mainly got a 360 for Team Ninja and Halo games.

Rainbow Six and...

I'm way too curious about Viva Pinata not to make it the second.

You hype that game too much. I never played the first but If I end up buying DOA X2 I'm gonna blame you.

I played it, and enjoyed it, but Beach Spikers is a much better game.
I don't get it. How does that single-handedly make you not want to buy the game? I ask because simply, I do not know. From what I'm reading, you don't like how you can make a theme from an MP3 for a wrestler? Don't they have their own "real true to life" themes anyway?

Or is it for create-a-character like if you want to make a fruity wrestler in pink tights for laughs(not to offend any gay gamers here), you wanted to add along custom fruity music?

I'm not asking in a condescending way. I'm simply curious.
A big draw in for wrestling is Create a Wrestler. There are normally ways to add characters who are not in the game(like Scott Hall) that will look like the char and have a smiliar move list, same finisher etc....but normally not the same entrance music.

Sucks when you can recreate like the whole NWO but not have proper music to go by. Not a big deal to many, but to old school wrestling fans, most of our roster list isnt in the game so it makes the game cooler.

Either way im still getting GoW and Smackdown.

Damn, Rainbow Six Vegas looks amazing. I hadn't seen anything of it until just yesterday.

Scratch FEAR from my previous post, I'll gladly take R6 and DOAX2 instead.

Razor Ramon! I get it now (regarding the creating old-school wrestlers).

icecubedx5 I think the appeal of Viva Pinata is that its a different type of game. Its very easy to find FPS, third person action, fighting games etc. Whats different about Viva Pinata is its more of an open ended and light hearted game where your given a plot of land and how well you maintain and develop it determines how many other Pinatas come and stay. It looks relaxing, no major goals or anyone trying to shoot you constantly you just sit back pick it up and play it leisurely.

It also has the appeal to younger children and girlfriends one of my larger draws among the game looking cute and fun is that my girlfriend will "love" this game so it will be something for her to play on the 360 as well. I also want to support more systems bringing out games like this since this has mostly been a domain that Nintendo has dominated in the past with animal crossing, harveset moon etc.

Is it supposed to be like Animal Crossing? My girlfriend is strange in that she likes some games that I play, but hates "pointless" games like Animal Crossing and Oblivion.

I read it is gonna play like "The Sims" but only with Pinatas.

my understand of it s you have a plot of land you develop, other pinatas slowly come to live in it based on how each one personally likes the area you've set up. They each contribute their own things to the community. Some of them fall in love which leads to mini mating games etc. You occasionally get hostile "sour" Pinatas moving in to mess up your area which you can either fight off(break them up) or tame them and they end up contributing to your area in their own way as well. Developers have said taming would be more benificial to you obviously since its harder than just fighting them off. Dosent really sound like Animal crossing "or" the Sims to me but its similar enough in some aspects to both to lump it in with those style of games that are more open ended.
