If you could only buy 1 new game this fall what would it be?

Totally. Just have to wait until early next year. Not too bad. And if FEAR is an example, PC is the only way to go.
 
Fallout 3, Gears 2 and Fable 2, can't pick just one. I may wait for a price drop on Fable 2 and Fallout 3 for a price drop- because I like to be on the multiplayer curve and not behind it.

I hope they get the console version ok this time. My computer barely ran FEAR and I hate gaming on the PC anyway. So it's either the 360 version is decent or I skip it.
 
Well everyone seems to want Fallout 3, so I'll say Call of Duty: World at War. Hopefully the single player will be as good as CoD4 (which, for an FPS, was fantastic), and with a most likely kick-ass online multiplayer experience, this game should serve me endless hours of fun. Of course, not to mention the online-co-op!

Hopefully it is. I'd hate to have people miss out on a good game due to a shitty sloppy port.

..But it is a game. Aside from the "crate whatever" mode, the main game mode is a platformer with levels, items to collect, and goals.
 
Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm

The demo alone has entertained me more than most full-sized games have. I am extremely excited for the full version. All of my friends who have played it have loved it, and I'm really pumped for the long multi-player matches ahead of me.
 
The WoW expansion, Wrath of the Lich King.

If expansions don't count.. Little Big Planet.
 
Just one? *looks up end of fall* fuck. I'll have to say Left4Dead, Gears 2, Naruto or Spiderman Web of Shadows. Yes, I said the last two, the demo for Naruto was fun and spiderman looks like a good game. Unfortunately, looking like a good game doesn't always mean it is...

This is a hard question with all the great games coming out soon.
My pick is Left 4 Dead.

LBP

Persona 4 in a distant 2nd and that may be all I buy this fall excluding PSN games.

Fat Princess will fit between LBP and P4 if it makes it out in the fall.
 
Guess I'll be the only one for eternal sonata ps3 version. Been waiting on this for awhile ever since I heard about the extra content which is why I never played the 360 version.

500 endings. They've upped it. Although by "ending" they're really only talking about permutations of events that have unfolded between your character and the gameworld, so saying it's got hundreds of endings is kind of misleading.

Originally that would have been my one but after Nintendo fucked me over with my VC purchases I sold my Wii and vowed to never buy another Nintendo product again.

Just preordered LBP, and have been watching videos of the new Prince of Persia. It looks amazing. Is there a solid release date on it? Amazon says dec. gamestop says nov.

If I had to choose one, it would be Mirror's Edge. I am really excited for it. :D

In reality though, I'll end up getting Fallout 3, as well. Not too much else interests me this year.

Dammit, I forgot my PS3. Gears 2 decision still stands.
