If you could own ONE mint arcade cabinet...

BAM!
I know we're not supposed to have runner ups and second choices, so I'm just coming in here to post this awesome pinball music from the Black Knight 2000 machine. It's epic done 80s style, which is the ONLY way epic can be achieved.

That is my favorite pinball machine. Memories from my hometown bowling alley. HE'S THE BLACK KNIGHT!!!
If I had a Neo Geo cabinet, I would have put Sonic Wings, King of the Monsters, Last Blade, and Magical Drops 2 or 3 =P
I would love to get magicial drop 3. I only have Puzzle Bobble, Metal Slug 3, 4, Samurai Showdown 1, and World Heroes 2 right now.

I am in love with this game. I swiped my card so many times at Dave & Busters a few months ago on this game. It is absolutely SICK. I would love to own this game.

Not anymore. Midway died, and so did all of their XBLA games. (Unless, of course, you already bought them :) )

Brilliant post. You are a credit to the community.

I wouldn't mind having a SpyHunter cabinet either...

Touche'

I already had it so never thought to look for it again.

Don't know whether anyone else here will even remember this game, but Mad Planets was the only arcade game I was ever crazy-good at. I used to get crowds forming around the machine to watch when I played. As much as I'd love to own one of these, I'd probably be horrified to see how much time has eroded my skills on it.

Arcade Machine: tie between Mrs. Pacman/Galaga 20th Anniversary machine and Neo Geo multi (with Magical Drop 3, King of Fighters 95, Samurai Showdown 2 & Metal Slug 3).

Pinball: Addam's Family!

Dragon's Lair 2.... never beat that one. Ideally I would have all those cartoon games in my house, DL 1 and 2, Space Ace, Alic in Wonderland....there are some others I am forgetting too.

A dedicated Mortal Kombat II machine.

And everyone in this thread deserves to be punched in the thorax for letting the thread get to 4 pages before MK2 was mentioned.

Frankly, I'm surprised how many people agree with me on Magical Drops 3. When I used to be in the arcade scene (when there used to be one...), pretty much no one ever touched Magical Drops.

IMO, it really is easily the best 2 player puzzle game... except for MAYBE Tetris.

Simpsons, X-Men, Captain America & The Avengers, or one of the Pre-1995 WWF Cabinets (prior to them putting WWF workers in MORTAL KOMBAT).

I'd also love to own a MARIO KART cabinet from Japan. But that's insanity.

Ha, agreed i still need a MK2 machine.
Killer Instinct. To this day I still want one. That or the Simpson's game.
Killer Instinct is amazing. My pick as well.

Although I do have two machines in my basement already(Baby Pac Man - not functioning yet, needs a new mpu board, and a 1982 popeye cocktail machine).
Nobody mention Punch-Out? Disgraceful!

My friend opened a barbershop and I helped him track down a Punch-Out machine for it. It literally never gets old.

Dude, you HAVE TO get that one working! It's one of the most unique things ever.

Have a 4 Player NBA Jam cab.. Wish it was the Tournament Edition, but it's still hella fun. Always wanted one and it's a blast to play with some friends over.

Dude, you can probably find a TE circuit board on ebay and swap it with the original PCB. Sure, your cabinet won't have TE artwork, but who cares?

I just picked up a Neo-Geo Arcade Machine with 6 or 7 MVS carts and 1 JAMMA PCB (The Main Event). Got it all delivered to my shop for an even $450, but I tipped the driver $50 for being so careful with all of it and delivering in a timely fashion. My boss then bought me a 151 Multigame MVS Cart from Hong Kong, so now I have 7 MVS carts (3 or 4 with boxes and mini marquees) taking up space in my closet. Only minor complaints: My cab has woodgrain side panels, no original Neo-Geo side art, no light up credit display on the control panel, no headphone/memory card ports...but again that's no big deal to me anyway. Screen is in GREAT shape, and sounds amazing. Very very happy with it.

My brother bought a G.I. Joe Arcade and paid to have it shipped to his friends house (he was in the army and money was burning a hole in his pocket), and he ended up dropping $2,000 total including shipping. I love G.I. Joe and all, but that's FAAAAAR too much to pay in my opinon.

I also have a cocktail game called "Space Fever", made by Nintendo...was manufactured around 1979, pre-dated Space Invaders I believe, could be wrong. Picked it up for $100 with extra side panels and an extra monitor.

Holy crap, not even I knew that existed.
