If you pre-order at Amazon before a bonus is announced, do you still get it?

I placed an pre-order for the new Ratchet and Clank about a week ago. As of today they are now listing a pre-order bonus.

Has anyone pre-ordered a game before a bonus was listed and still gotten the bonus? Or do I have to cancel and reorder the game?

In the past you always received the bonus unless they recently have decided to change things.

If cancelling and then re-ordering won't mess up any promos you might have on the order, that may be the best thing to do, since emailing them and asking doesn't always get you the correct answer either.

I'd rather not mess with the order since it was the best price I could get. I had a goldbox discount as well as the currently expired ECA 10% off.

So if people have gotten the bonus even if they ordered before the announcement was listed, then I might just try to go with that. When I spoke got the email from the CSR, it seemed like he was just writing verbatim what the bonus said. The email said that I had to order the game "today" to qualify for the bonus.

Well it depends on what type of bonus you are talking about. If it's a free item like a book, skin, or in game code. Then you should be fine with it being included in your order.

I pre-ordered Rockband Beatles before they had the Pre-Order Club Code bonus on the site and I did eventually get a Pre-Order club code.

If it was a gift card or something like that where there are terms and conditions and they clearly state when you have to order between then NO you will not get the bonus.

We're talking about Amazon here and I could definitely see them going both ways. Sometimes it's either way.

Could you let us know what the item is you're concerned about?

If it's a DLC code, the I'd be inclined to say you'll be included when they send them out.
