I checked a flyer today. It says "In store November 20th. Stores closed November 19th". So it seems Zellers will be closed November 19th for some reason or another and that you won't be able to pick up your system until November 20th o_O; Is there a holiday on that day? Remembrance Day is the 11th...

Because the reason many people pre-order is to be ensured they get their system on the first day available. I know I'm completely psyched to be playing Zelda (finally) on November 19th.

This is an item that will be sold out for months, people pre-order so they can get one at or near launch. A day "late" is no big deal.
 
heres what im thinking alot of people are off the 19 of school work etc. so that gives them a day of freedom to play it. butthe 20 be back on the go.

Some provinces do not have shopping stores open on Sundays, ie. PEI and New Brunswick to some extent. You're in BC, it'll be open...

Oh alright. I didn't know they still did that. Thought it went out decades ago o.o; Hm, I also thought flyers were specific to their region? Maybe not Zellers then.

I didn't get to pre-order anywhere =( Don't trust Zellers (especially with the bundle) and couldn't get to an EB. Was also a bit late for Toys R Us so didn't want to risk it. I'll just get to a mall about 2 hours early and find a store selling. There should be plenty of Wiis in stock... even though I think Vancouver has one of the greatest concentration of Nintendo fans in North America =/
 
really? i'm like the only nintendo fan outta all my friends, the others are pc and ps2, well i converted a few of them to the ds, but yea

Zellers had 360's on launch and they are definitly getting the Wii's, they already have all the SKUs.

Sony rules supreme this gen (and rightfully so with all the games). I have a lot of PC friends too, but it seems evenly split between Sony and Nintendo. I hear that Toronto is Xbox haven and I haven't seen too much of that here... maybe because I know mostly Asians =p It seems the GCN outsold the Xbox in Canada and N64 outsold PSX.
