CAGiversary!
I know this is the Video game deals forum but I know John posted the thread about the url=http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/showthread.php?t=207652]Dell 23" Monitor[/url].

I asked my Uncle to help me find a good monitor for my 360 because he's good at finding hardware deals and he linked me to this:

:pc: Iiyama E2407HDS-B 24" 1080p Monitor £176.99 inc vat

Some quick specs:

24 inch TFT LCD Screen Size
Full HD 1080p, 1920 x 1080
Response time 2 msec
Inputs: DVI-D, HDMI, D-Sub

etc etc

I am definitely considering getting this.

apparently an awesome deal
i don't know which type of TFT gets mounted on this Iiyama, but if i'm not wrong this used to be a quality brand. isn't it?

Looks pretty cool, never heard of them though.
Even so, no use for me but I may know someone who could use it.
(Be warned it mentions no VGA port.)

Oh, I'm looking for a stand for my Dell that will let me turn it at a right angle, of course being so big it'll have to extend too. Any ideas?

VGA is there for sure, they commonly refer to it as "analog" or "d-sub" connection
sports VGA DVI and HDMI inputs afaik

Ah okay there you go then, actually I noticed today at college we have Iiyama monitors hooked up the Mac Pros for editing. Never noticed that before.

Iiyama was a superb brand for CRT monitors a while back, dont know how there flat screens holdup.
This and the dell are so tempting but I dont think my PC can play games at Full HD and I wont get it just for the 360. Why dont they make 720p monitors at this size?

bread's done
