Found her sitting there on a rack next to the DVD's. 2 hillbilly guys where looking at starwars battlefront for 39.00! I was like guys, I just sold a copy of that for 10 bucks on ebay, then I looked down and saw it there, and was like UM YA I"LL TAKE THAT ONE. the one guy goes what is that? I was like oh just some weird japanese game. He's like ah I hate thoses ones, (and I thought to myself, well good cause you ain't getting this one) I honestly have never seen a copy of this game used or other wise in my area so I was really strange to see it at Walmart. You should go check yours, they are open 27 hours a day for you know!

honestly I am assuming that my walmart just had this game sitting around because nobody in my area is going to buy it, and when this sale hit, if the store had the game in stock it was to go to 14.88 but I am betting most of them sold out a long time ago and was never restocked, but if you live in a hick town like me, go check it out! Also the sale was suppose to start the 1st and the green tag on the game was dated the 3rd, so I dont really know what is going on, I actually half expected to have trouble at the register but it rang up 14.88... Give it a shot

Yeah sorry scorch, if this is considered a repost, close her down, I just thought this was to good of a deal not to have its own thread, I wanted everyone to know that it could be their walmart and they should at least call, or stop in

No big deal, I'd rather have people monitoring stuff like that then a bunch of posts everywhere saying the same thing

nice find at a low price too i need to stop by some wal marts and see if they have any there....i wish i could of picked up ikaruga at frys last year but didnt feel like paying 30 for it and now i regreted

it's $24.99 used at gamestop, but it's always back ordered. i was lucky enough to get my copy for $25 straight up w/ shipping through the buy it now option on ebay. i love that game sooo much. co-op rocks!!!!!

Here's my story. I went to Wal-Mart, checked out the games, and saw a single copy of Ikaruga, factory sealed, for $39.xx. I bought it, got it home, and realized that the disc was loose inside and sliding around the case. So the reason they had it was probably that some guy didn't know what to do with a potentially scratched but sealed copy of Ikaruga and did a no-receipt return. What do I do? I feel like just taking it back there...$40 isn't worth the risk of having a scratched up copy.

That's a problem with Gamecube games. I would say 1/3 of the games I get have a disc loose in the case. It's probably due to the spindle not being big enough.

I think I've only had one disk loose in the case, and that was the Rogue Squadron 3 bonus disk, which I haven't even opened yet.

Really... I should check mine. Even though I have Ikaruga already, I could pass this deal on to another CAG who doesn't have access to this game at all, much less to one that's been rotting in a display case for at least 9 months.

I have seen many new Gamecube games in my day, oddly the loose disc ones always seem to be from Walmart. Go figure, you pay your employees $6.15 an hour and you end up with damaged merchandise. Then again, have you ever seen how they handle returns? One Christmas I recieved duplicates... needless to say the return bins where like 25ft away from the counter. That didn't stop those resourceful employees from hurling sensitive electronics through like fish at a fresh fish market. That's always sure to please the masses. Go Walmart, YAY!
