I see there is a big sale at CC...what other excitement did I miss?
The wedding(s) and honeymoon went extremely well...more on that later.

Good to hear.. I've heard way to many horror stories about wedding ceremonies, so it's great to hear that everything went off without a hitch.
 
Over 2000 new CAG joined up, and it's not even the halfway point of the month. The mods have been busy while you were gone, I'd say they did a decent job in you absence. Ask if they've seen any Circuit City threads that needed to be moved or locked.

It was pretty quiet around here while you were gone.......(insert sarcasm here).
 
I don't think anyone knows if there were any other deals. Any non CC topic just got drowned in the hundreds of CC topics.
 
It was really spooky having your bitmapped persona hovering over the front page for the past two weeks. Only thing that could've made it more eerie is if you had given it googley eyes that followed the mouse pointer wherever it moved on the screen...yikes. Welcome back.

congrats first off.

cc deal was number one, beyond that, a few more ebgames went lower. nothing much, or nothing much that anyone could remeber with all the CC threads and locked CC threads.
 
Congrats and welcome back! Where did you guys go for honey moon?

Btw, none of the CCs near us (NYC) has anything worthwhile (unless you consider Sega Bass Fishing worthwhile, hehe).
 
CheapyD! Congratulations! Other than the CC deal, nothing really went on. Over the past week, if a topic wasn't about the Circuit City clearance, it failed horribly. I can't believe you missed such a sale! Although, it brought the worste out in people...

Defender stole all the booze and candy while you were gone, other than that there were $5 games at circuit city last saturday and sunday.

Welcome back and congrats again on your nuptials. Ironic how you missed the biggest cheap-ass sale while you were gone. Hopefully things will return to normal now that you are back.

Congrats, and welcome back. Don't worry about missing the CC sale, I'm sure there will be a flood of topics about this for weeks to come (trade lists, whinefests, flame wars, etc.).

Some games had a price cut like: Deus Ex: Invisible War $20(XboX), Medal of Honor: Rising Sun$10(XbOX), Metal Arms$5(Xbox), Resident Evil$5(PS2)

There's one word which pops into my mind while looking at the expression on your face there, CheapyD: smarmy. Was the guy saying something fairly simple-minded at the time?

As for when/where that was, he was on ESPN2's Cold Pizza show doing a review for Winning Eleven 7
 
It actually looks like he was really looking down a long way. How much taller than that guy are you? It reminds me of the way I have to look at my wife. She's a full foot shorter than I.
