well if it makes him feel better my husband and i dated on and off from age 14-16 and then dated exclusivly form age 16 tell we got married when I was 19 (he proposed when I was 18) and we are doing just fine been married over five years now and expecting our first child (planned). I'd say we first starting talking about getting married when i was 17 (he was 18), but he spent 2 years in the airforce before we got married (we were long distsance relationship through that, not engaged tell i was 18, 6 months before we got married, and we did go out on a few dates w/ other people while this was going on tomake certain we still wanted eachother and hadn't changed.... didn't want regrets) and I went to 2 years worth of college before we got married.... so he got his rank up so we had a half way decent income and medical before we got married.... you have to remember to think about things like that... and above all else
