Everyone can say how bad tobacco is for you. all I'm going to say is two things.

Why to this day do automobiles still have cigarette lighters and I can name a great many things that are just as bad in some way for you as tobacco. Tobacco if you want to do it then fine, if not fine as well. I love the people that say they market to teens and such. I don't think many teens look at a cigarette ad and go oh that so cool I'm on my way to buy a pack. Most people who use tobacco of any kind get the habit from friends, family etc.

Yup.

My parents were neither bad nor worked 60 hours a week, but I made the decision to start smoking. I also made the decision to stop. I pay for my own medical bills. Second hand smoke? Give me a break. Why don't we sue every oil company, chemical company, power generating plant, agribusiness megacorp, or other business that releases millions of tons of toxic material yearly into the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the soil we grow our food in. It's attitudes like yours that have turned us into bunch of litigious fools, that will sue anyone that looks like they have deep pockets, regardless of where the blame truly rests. Alcohol is legal, and I can drink myself to death if I so choose. Are the liquor stores to blame for selling it to me, or is it the manufacturer for making the vile liquid to begin with? Or maybe it's the advertising companies that create the ads that entice me to buy it that are responsible?

They call 'em "Power Ports" now. Most cars don't come with the actual lighter part, you have to go to PepBoys for that. Maybe we should sue them too, for contributing to a public nuisance.

A liquor store, or bar, can be sued for allowing you to drink yourself to death. Multiple times I've seen liquor stores refuse to sell drinks to people who came in drunk, and I've seen bars and restaurants refuse to serve alcohol to a drunk person.

And second hand smoke can cause more damage than living in a polluted city, is unnecessary, and often forces itself upon people who would avoid it. Though, you can sue a chemical or other company if you can directly link your disease with their actions.
 
Unless I'm allowed to light up a doobie withought fear of arrest, fuck no they shouldn't be allowed to smoke ciggarettes.
 
I don't give a damn if people smoke as long as they don't kill me by smoking in my face. Then again, everyone dies eventually anyway. *shrugs*

No. Someone should put a end to the tobacco industery altogether.
 
On a related note, I'm going to sue the entire educational system of this country. It's just so dissappointing to get interested in a girl and then find out she's a complete idiot.
