I'm Looking For Some GBA Games

I don't come here that often. However, I post in GameFAQs.com daily under the same ID.

Anyway, I've recently received a Nintendo DS Cobalt Black from a friend (he bought a brand new one) as a birthday present (June 29).

Yea.

So I've been on the hunt for:

Mega Man Zero
Mega Man Zero 2
Mega Man Zero 3

I've found Mega Man Zero 4 on Amazon.com brand new and purchased it already. I also found Mega Man ZX & Mega Man ZX Advent online for ok prices.

But why is it that I can't seem to find a good deal on Mega Man Zero 1 ~ 3? I mean there are new ones on Amazon, but they're selling it for nearly $100.

>_<

So yea.

If you have them or can find a place that has them for a good price (preferably new; but used/like new is fine), please post here.

Oh, and of course, I'm looking for the North American version.

Thanks!

I'm counting on you guys here at CAG!!

=)

eBay is probably your best bet. GBA games are all pretty much OOP and more popular ones are harder to find given low print runs.

eBay might not sound all that good, but with patience you can score some sweet deals.
cml i have 3 and 4 and some other games , make me a deal
I checked out your list and I'm not liking that nasty sticker on the Mega Man Zero 3 cartridge...

It would be nearly impossible at this point to find Zero 1-3 new for a reasonable or cheap price. I think your best bet would to either patiently wait for one that's cheap enough for you on eBay or wait till GameStop has a 25% off used GBA games coupon, Mega Man Zero 1-3 are 9.99 each used at GameStop.

That sticker on demonchin's Mega Man game isn't really a problem at all that you said was nasty, I have a GBA game here that I just peeled one off of and it came off clean like nothing.

I am not necessarily trying to get them brand new, but in like new condition. I don't even need the box/instruction booklet...just the game.

I need the game cartridge and the level in tact and in near mint condition (no tears, no extra stickers all over it, clean...).

I thought of something.

If you can find the games brand new in any of your local stores (North American version), please post here how much it is, if it's a good price then buy it, I will send you money, and then you can send it.

I mean there's nothing to lose other than:

a. maybe a few minutes of your time if you have to return it

If you do this, and if there is a game in my list that I am selling or whatever that you want, you can have it for free.

If I do have a game that I am currently putting up for sale and it's one that want, I'll even pay for the shipping as well (USPS Priority Mail).
Go to Gamestop, they have a huge rack of used GBA games in a glass container thingy.
The thing is, not all GameStop stores are the same and I don't have time to go out to an actual GameStop store.

>_>

I'm a bit busy lately.

I would HIGHLY suggest you use Goozex for those games you want. I have gotten some real gems from Goozex and I could not believe some of the great trades I've gotten, such as ICO for PS2, it came sealed...(not resealed), and I got all the GBA Super Mario Games all with boxes and instructions and all in MINT no sticker conditions....even the boxes showed up with no bends.

I'd rather not join up on another trade site.

Why else do you think I came to CAG to try to get the games?

Search for the games on their site, make sure you click "Show" at the bottom so the website lists games that are out of stock online, then click the games & do an in-store search for stores in your area that carry them. Simple.

If you don't have time to do that, I don't know why you expect us to do it for you....

1. What good will that do for me if I'm busy to go to an actual store?
2. I checked that thing, but the store locater thing is being dumb and only listing stores that are no where near me

Again, I point you towards a previous post that I made...

Except.

If you are willing to and find Mega Man Zero 1 ~ 4 at a local store that is at least (better if you can find it brand new; north american but like new is fine):

a. cartridge is in like new condition
b. sticker is in like new condition
c. an official north american version (there are a lot of bootleg copies that are apparently being traded into at gamestop)

Then email me at [email protected] and then we can discuss about:

a. price
b. how you can ship it to me
c. how i am going to pay you

Basically if it goes through, I'd require that you send the game first and then I will send payment.

I'm not going to try and rip you off or whatever seeing as I'm willing to spend a bit of $ on the games anyway through Amazon.com or Half.com. or maybe through CAG trading.

Try staying clear of Ebay for GBA games...I've bought several GBA games on there and they all ended up being fakes. If you do find them on ebay, make sure they clearly show you what you're getting. Goozex is also a great choice as mentioned by other people. I got Mega Man Zero X4 free from there a year ago when I first signed up. Other places to check: Gamestop, Amazon, Half.com, etc...same thing everyone else has been saying.

If you check half.com right now, they have all three of the games that you want for between $10-$15 shipped...used, but in good condition. You can search around for a $5 off coupon for your first order as well, meaning that you can get all three for around $30.

How did you know they were fake?

Also... When you are searching for games on eBay, make sure you click the "US only" option on the Location bar. You wouldn't believe how many bootlegs are out there.

1. I'm not using eBay. I've closed my ebay & PayPal account a while ago.
2. It's obvious that I would only get games shipping from the USA. Why? Shipping mainly. If i get something from Hong Kong or China, it's gonna take way longer to have it shipped than if I got something coming from like California, Florda, Texas, New York, New Jersey, etc.

If you do that, then you would also be blocking Canadian sellers. i've sold many GBA games and i've never sold a bootleg.

As I've said, I've bought Mega Man Zero 4 and that came in the mail already.

I just ordered The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past/Four Swords (brand new).
