I'm looking for three old PS1 games

I've tried bidding on ebay, but I always get outbid. I guess the games I want are "rare", but that's not why I want them. Anyway, I'm a newbie, and here's my list:

Tactics Ogre
Raiden Project
Vanguard Bandits

I've seen all three of these games go anywhere from $50.00-$150.00 on ebay, and quite frankly, I can't spend that much on a used game.

Raiden Project is fun... but other games similar to them can be purchased for $10 to $20...

Nope, came out in the US within the first month of the PSX launch. Bought it when it came out and refuse to part with it. :)

You can get used copies of those games thru Amazon for less than Ebay. I saw copies of Vanguard Bandits for $20 to $30, at least one Raiden project for slightly less than $50 and the cheapest Tactics Orge was $60. I doubt anyone is willing to part with their copies for less. Being a cheapass means looking for good deals not giving away games for substantially less than their worth.

I found Tactics Ogre, used, in a Gamestop one day. They charged $44 for it. I considered that enough of a deal and walked away with it. Hard as hell to find it for anything less.

Really your only option is finding them on the cheap at a pawnshop or garage sale. I found Tactics Ogre at a pawnshop for $5 a couple of years ago. It was in sorry shape but it was at least playable and had the case. I saw Raiden Project at my Hastings a couple of years ago used for like $8. I saw it every week for years and when I finally decided to pick it up it was gone! So they can be found in the wild if you are persistant and patient.

Used copies of Vanguard Bandits go for less than $30 on eBay. I bought one for myself and helped another CAG in obtaining one for about the same price as well. Unless there has been a run on it or you are aiming for a new sealed copy, use eBay for VB and be patient.

I have no idea on the other two.

Vanguard Bandits was Working Designs wasn't it? Or maybe it's the crack. When I worked at EB, I'd see 'em come in occasionally. Of the three, I'd consider that one probably the easiest to find. But yeah, $30ish sounds about right for that one.

I had 4 copies of Vanguard Bandits from eBay (from different sellers), trying to find a decent copy of the Lunar 2 demo. But all of them lied about the condition of the disc... I sold two of them with the Lunar 2 demo (for ~$25) and one without the Lunar 2 demo (~$20).
