Well I hope it was on hard (forgot what its called), I saw a code earlier...

I think this is it:

On the mission select screen, hold both the left and right bumpers then quickly input on the d-pad left, left, right, right, then Y, Y

I read that the file gets deleted when you start the game before you're signed on to Live. If you're not signed on, it ovewrittes the data with new one.

y my data also got deleted all the time so I eventually ust bought a mem. card. so I can finallly beat the game on veteran.

its a glitch in the game, i dont know how many were released like it, i know on other gaming websites its been discoused, activision said there was no way around it, and gave out the code to unlock all levels, i personally had this problem, i got a new game from best buy got the game protection program in case this one did the same thing, but im sailing smooth im half way through the american missions

Happened to me, sort of. My Live connection was unstable and disconnected in the middle of a level only to find I was put back to the first mission. A quick reboot of the Xbox 360 got all my progress back.

will this screw up my gamer score?????

I guess I lucked out. Although, my 360 wasn't connected to the internet at all when I beat COD2. Maybe that's why.

To get the War Hardened achievement I believe that you have to beat all the levels in veteran. If you do the level select and finish the last level only, I dont think it will give you the achievement. Achievements that you already completed wont be affected though.
