Import Pink DS

Ok - so I ordered my gf a pink ds for valentine's - placed the order a couple weeks before val. day even - from play-asia - and it went on back-order... apparently they are all sold out in japan and nintendo hasn't announced a new production run? Is this true? Does anybody know where I can get an import pink ds for a reasonable price?

Back-Order, ships when stock arrives

this is for the japanese version 110v (what I want) not the asia version 220v which they do have in stock.

Wouldn't the only difference between the 110v and 220v version be the charger? Can't you just buy a U.S. replacement charger from Nintendo and be done with it?

Ah - I didn't realize this was the only difference - guess I thought maybe the interal parts where it connected with the charger were somehow different - Thanks I'll check into this.
