Never dealt with gamers gate. Prefer steam and impulse to other digital download systems i have seen.

Gamersgate is pretty easy going, requires no third party content, and always guarantees you access to your games including those with install limits. Pretty hassle free just downloading from the site itself.
I understand sticking to with what is comfortable though, but just wanted to mention it's not all that bad, and run by Paradox Interactive publisher.
