Hackers is an awesome movie!
Yeah. A great movie day is Tron, War Games, Hackers.
That's okay, but why risk it? What are you going to do in that 30 minutes that you can't be there at 7? ;)

Usually when I go to shows (especially when they sell out), I try to get there about an hour before the doors open to scope it out. If there are no or few people lined up, I get something to eat or whatever, and if there is a large amount of people, I usually just get in line. The thing is, not everyone immediately goes to the front. For something like this though, I imagine that people will try to get up front immediately. The latest I would be ready to go inside is at 7.
I don't want to get there too early because my fuck-tarded friend can't make it, meaning I'll be there alone for quite a while bored out of my mind. The show is sold out, so I can't bring anyone else along either :(.

What about pictures? I take it there allowed, provided that they're not flash, right?
Also, what kind of merchandise can I expect to see there and will they be reasonably priced?

What can I expect when they're actually performing (like, what will the audience members (and I) be doing)?

Thanks for your advice, everyone.
NYC delis are severely overrated. Best deli ive ever eaten at was in Montreal. And yes, i've been to all of the famous ones; carnegie, stage, etc. 2nd best is in Jersey, near NYC.
fuck that, go to Epsteins. breighton beach or coney island. or the diamond district. i'm from NY, i know the *real* places to eat, not the tourist traps and overrated, overpriced trendy shit holes.

in addition, yeast, particularly sour starter, is a microorganism that mutates very rapidly and a particular strain is indiginous to only one particular neighborhood of a given area. the sour starters used in kosher bakeries in the jewish sections of New York can be like 50 years old and highly protected so that they don't mutate. for example, the san francisco sour doughs are some of the best in the world, just like the NYC ryes are incomparable.

Pictures go by the venue, usually they are allowed, I've never been to a show that hasn't. Merchandise consists of shirts and mixtapes. About $20-$25 per shirt and $10-$15 a mixtape. As for what you're going to be doing is nodding/bouncing to the beat, dancing or whathaveyou. Drink, eat, shit, piss all before the show. You don't want to lose your spot for any reason.

So where's the best pizza (in Manhattan)? The one time I've been to NYC we hit Lombardi's which was fantastic IMO.

NY pizza has NOTHING on authentic Philly pizza.

Again, thanks everyone (especially Zew). I'll bring back pics for you guys.

pizza? fuck. there's an awesome place in every neighborhood. some better than others, but that's tough. the place i like the best on the west side is either on 10th or 11th ave in hells kitchen, which as most people know, used to be a total italian mafia neighborhood in the 1950's-70's. then there's a ton of places in little italy. there's just SO MANY pizzerias. Rays is probably one of the biggest local chains. there's also coronet's which is near Columbia at 110 and amsterdam. the size of a single slice is larger than a dinner plate and it's only $2.

there's this place in Sheephead Bay, Brooklyn right down on the bay. it's won "best pizza in NY" several times. there's a bunch of places on Arthur Ave, Bronx (my grandfather owned a bakery on arthur ave) and they're all good.

Any restaurant pizza has NOTHING on homemade pizza.

Went to the gf's, played some TP (I've just gotten the master sword tonight), and picked out a cookie recipe for tomorrow night. Now I need to finish my homework for tomorrow.
Oh, and don't forget the sequel.

Also my wireless card finally started working. I've had everything set up the same way for a week or more, and I've just noticed that it's actually connecting to the network now. I'm not sure when or how, but it's about fucking time.
Do guys really do that? I've never done that.
Sometimes. Depends on how much enegry I put into it. Also depends on how much I had to drink.
Sometimes. Depends on how much enegry I put into it. Also depends on how much I had to drink.
Yeah, I don't drink much if anything, most times. But unless it's been over an hour and a half or so, I've usually got more energy after than before. Hmm.

Unrelated side note: My gf's hot water heater wasn't working tonight, for unknown reasons.

i gues that means you need to shower with her to keep her warm.;)
Next time switch with her, and throw some of her fabric at her to keep her warm
Hah, I get back at her by peeing in the shower!
thats fucking gross and fucking wrong.
Pissing in the shower? I see nothing wrong with that :/
Pissing in the shower? I see nothing wrong with that :/
it's a shower, not a toilet. just because you, as a male, *can* piss anywhere, doesn't mean you *should*

would you want your g/f to piss in the shower?! then again, don't answer that. who knows wtf gets your rocks off.
Pissing in the shower? I see nothing wrong with that :/
Must be a guy thing. I see no problem with it and I've done it/do it.

Don't listen to her, it's a time honored college tradition, also it helps kill athlete's foot.;)

Well, if I piss in the toilet and flush, then take a shower, I've wasted water when I could of just pissed in the shower and saved x amount of gallons from the flushing toilet.

and you wonder why people wear shower shoes?!
Well, if I piss in the toilet and flush, then take a shower, I've wasted water when I could of just pissed in the shower and saved x amount of gallons from the flushing toilet.
yeah, but you don't go putting your feet in the toilet, now do you?

dammit, where's lulu and dok when you need them?! i'm severely outnumbered here.
yeah, but you don't go putting your feet in the toilet, now do you?

dammit, where's lulu and dok when you need them?! i'm severely outnumbered here.
Well, we certainly don't go jumping in it like (golden) rain puddles. That would be barbaric.
That's EXACTLY why I always wore sandels to the shower in college.
yeah, but you don't wear shower shoes in your own shower, now do you?
would you want your g/f to piss in the shower?! then again, don't answer that. who knows wtf gets your rocks off.
Well, it doesn't bother me. Urine is sterile plus do you know how much water flows from the shower head? Enough to quickly dilute anything in the shower within a minute or so. It's not like I'm pissing on my face or swimming in my urine, it just sits in the water for a few seconds till it goes down the drain.
Well, we certainly don't go jumping in it like (golden) rain puddles. That would be barbaric.
yeah, but even with soap, there's still trace amounts in the bottom of the shower until it's been properly cleaned since you can't mix bleach with urine. then, if it's not a shower stall, there's a tub that someone might want to bathe in.
yeah, but you don't go putting your feet in the toilet, now do you?
No, as my feet are to large to fit in the toilet properly. I highly doubt that my piss is extremely deadly to my feet.

urine is *only* sterile if you are healthy with no viral or bacterial infection, you don't have diabetes, etc otherwise there is viral/bacterial shedding or ketones etc in your urine.
