I truly can't decide whether to get a Micro or just upgrade to a backlit SP. I'd like to play test the Micro and see what I think of the screen size. It would also be nice to see the Pearl Blue and Graphite SP colors in person before deciding. Has anyone seen samples of these new products in a store? If I found a game store employee willing to indulge me, would they be allowed to open a box?

They shouldn't open one but you may be able to find one that will. Or you could see if someone has traded one in at your local game store this would be another way.

if you feel like coming into new york all the employees at the nintendo world store at rockefeller center have gba micros hanging around their necks and will let you play with it if you ask.

an open one is all I need. Frankly, one that hasn't been manhandled by several hundred germy rug rats is a good thing. Demo just for those who ask, not official demo hanging on the wall = yay.

Thanks for the info everyone.

Best Buy should have them, Im not sure if all stores do though. Corporate sent out Demo units for the Media employees to wear around their necks. Try asking a media employee if they have a demo you could see.

My Toys R US has one, but it is at the customer service desk, and you have to ask to see it (they also had a sign saying that they had one and to ask for it at the CSD)..... it was pretty cool, they let me play it for quite a while.....
