It's back. Free shipping on orders of $49 or more to the USA and Canada. I cannot find an end date for this deal, but they usually run them for a week or a weekend, so don't wait to buy. As usual, they have a bunch of cheap HD-DVDs and some decent Blu-rays deals. Stock up, now!

HD-DVDs - http://search.inetvideo.com/search?w=hd+dvd&view=grid
Blu-rays - http://search.inetvideo.com/search?p=Q&lbc=inetvideo&ts=custom&w=blu-ray&af=&method=and&view=grid

For those that aren't familiar with this site, iNetVideo is a fairly reliable company. Tons of CAGs have ordered from them with minimal issues. They are a Canadian business, though, so there have been some differences between what you receive from them, and what you would get from an American business. Mostly, the differences have been with cover art (some have been dual-language, English and French).

Well, Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay on BD arrived today, Oddly enough it doesn't say 2-Disc Special Edition on the cover and doesn't come with the Digital Copy. I don't care, since I never use the Digital Copy anyway. So all in all good deal for $9.99

The copy I got direct from Warner on the release date didn't say 2 disc anywhere. But on the back of the slip cover and the case it says 'includes digital copy'.
I thinks they might be selling used copies as new, then. I don't think Warner would make a different version, but you never know.

I'm mildly annoyed that they raised prices for this "sale". The last go-round of free shipping was better in my opinion. I think I'll save my money this time.

They seem to do this every once and awhile. They must move a decent amount of the HD-DVDs at a low price and figure they might be able to squeeze a buck or two more out of us.

They really don't know us ;)

look like we got a new sale on domestic intevideo site.

transformers hd $1
few other movies $2-4

even from the us site though shipping is still pretty expensive.

hopefully the ca site has a similar sale

Yup, just got the cyber monday email (sale already started). Limit 3 on everything

$1 Transformers HD-DVD

$2 HD-DVDs:
Hot Rod
Norbit
Blades of Glory
Norbit

$10 Blu Rays
Dark City
Sleepwalking
Sex and the City

they also got some cheap games

Oh, and I got transformers and anchorman in the mail the other day, and the anchorman case was cracked in multiple places.

Dave

Thanks for pointing out the Cyber Monder deals, fellows. I had already checked my e-mail, but didn't get around to updating the thread. It is now updated...and bumped, obviously.

And yes, the free shipping offer expired.

Hell yah, picked up Transformers for a buck... plus $3 shipping. Can't complain. Good price on Four Brothers as well but I already picked that up awhile ago. Thanks OP.

I got my copy of 1408. I'm pretty sure it's just the US Weinstein disc with an Alliance cover. Extras are HD, and the TrueHD is 24bit. The runtime is 1hr52min so looks like it's the directors cut. Awesome deal.

But my copy of GONY is Alliance too. Does anyone know if I can still use the rebate with just the UPC, it doesn't have the pop tabs.

yea nice sale.. few 12.99 titles...

they also seem to have $10.00 of 60 using google checkout.. but it doesnt account for the free shipping...
Kill bill on blu-ray 12.99 each... Got those and 9 hd DVDs
i was about to put in my order.. but i wanted to see if someone can find out if the $10 off $60.00 using google checkout.. saving an extra 10 would be awesome
You can't combine free shipping with $10 off, I called
thanks for confirming.. pretty much kills the google checkout option.. ill just place my regular order now

3 blurays and 3 hd's for me

I sorta wanna get some HD stuff, but I also sorta wanna wait to see if they go any lower. A lot of the movies in my cart are "eh, what the hey" movies. Should I pull the trigger or wait :p

Got my last order in from cyber monday deals, one of the transformers I ordered had no shrinkwrap, and had the remains of a security tag and sticker on the slipcover (looked like the old circuit city tags). Wasnt too thrilled about it, I tried to do the live chat that said they were on, but they weren't.

no free shipping for google checkout... i tried and decide to get less for cheaper price... shipping for me would have been almost $30

Dave
The replacements they sent me for the two movies, one was damaged in shipment and one wasn't new, the replacements were the same way, one damaged and one open. I ended up piecing together a good one from the two that were damaged (good disc 1 from one and good disc 2 from the other one), the other one's case was much better than the first one, and I swapped out a damaged 2-disc case from a completely different movie from the one movie that was damaged with a good case.

Overall, I think I'm done dealing with them, since I have all the HD-DVD's I want.

It'd be hard to imagine getting HD DVDs for less than $4 shipped in the future. Granted you might get lucky and get a few $1.99 titles with free shipping at some point, there will only be a few and I'd imagine their stock might be starting to get low on what is left (they used to have a huge selection).

the sad thing is, there's not enough HD-DVD's to make $49 for me. even after adding some movies just to try to get to $50, i still couldn't. damn, top gun for $4 too!

I put an order in the other day and still haven't received an order confirmation or shipping confirmation. The last time I ordered from them, I got both very quickly. Should I check with CS, or is it likely it just hasn't been processed yet....payment has come out of my PayPal account though.

oh, an HD swinger, eh? no Blu here.

I have no money for this sale, and I'm pretty bummed about it. I got a $50 Christmas bonus from work, but I need it for bills. I reallllly wish my job paid on a better time frame (I get paid the 1st and the 15th, which is actually usually the 3rd and the 17th cause we get right up to the day and then the next day it gets processed. It makes it really hard to have money. Like, I need money for end of this month bills AND next month bills, from one paycheck. Have to split them. My point is I want movies).

If I had no bills, I'd buy Pans Lab and No Country on BD, and a random assortment of HD-DVD's. But Pans and No Country seem like decent prices for the BD's; I usually don't see them that low.

excellent deal/sale. got away with:
HDDVD
Beowulf - $4
Blades of Glory - $4
Old School - $4
Reds - $4
Italian Job - $4
Transformers - $4

BLU-RAY
The Great Raid - $12.99
Pan's Labyrinth - $12.99

shipping was going to be over 18$, so yay! i may go back and get another batch of stuff (kinda eying the Warriors HDDVD, Top Gun and a couple others)

I just got an email from inetvideo about dual format HD-DVDs. The single disc includes both SD and HD-DVD formats. Would these play in a Blu-ray player?
