Cool, now I don't need to buy at play.com in UK (same case per their website). A good site to check "locked" status is blurayregioncodes.com and click the region of the film in which you have an interest. So in this case, use "Region B" (UK Releases).

Just wanted to point this out, it looks like that may not be the final artwork. If you look closely it says "artwork TBC" So i wouldnt jump on this just yet if the artwork is your main reason for doing so.... But a steelbook on this would be pretty spiffy.

$30 is worth it for the steelbook IMO, versus $45+ through some other venues.

I'd be curious to see what the final artwork looks like, since that looks good enough for me.

Yeah this is has kicking around for a while on the net. UK steels are nice, but aren't worth much in the long run... Too over produced. This is one steel that you can open, watch etc with no fear of lossing it's value. Futureshop version will be the one that is worth keeping sealed.

For now, everyone is reporting this to be a steelbook but no official confirmation. There are still several weeks to cancel before it ships and Amazon does not charge until they ship.

Mine came out to about 18.38 pounds which is roughly $30
Ahem... your link has Blu-ray.com tag. Can't have any affiliate link here.

Exactly what I plan on doing. This was my favorite movie of the year, so I don't mind owning 2 copies of it. Hell, I may pick up the US version on release day too because I won't be able to wait for it to get here from UK and CA.
Will there any diference in the physical blu-ray when you watch it? PQ, Audio tracks... anything?
Because it's a new movie, I'd doubt it, but depending on who puts it out in the UK, it might have slight PQ differences or a different audio codec; Watchmen comes to mind.

Uh oh! Another one from Amazon.co.uk :wall:
