The xbox one is discontinued so you may have to ask if they have it in the back room out of three TRU stores.. only one was willing to look and found two :)
The quality kinda suck... but for $26 not bad.. to have it on your xbox.. maybe in the car or something..

the PS2 version was greentagged down to $45 .. i thought i wouldn't take it.. since it's more expensive and smaller than the xbox.. but since i drove there already.. i thought what the heck..haha..

if they don't have it on the floor... it maybe in the back.. just ask them if they can look for it.. i was only lucky to find two at one TRU other two didn't even bother to look, they just said.. oh it's out of stock.. i'm sure they didn't know what i was talking about.. but since it's not on the floor.. it must be 'out of stock' haha
 
These screens suck! I copped 2 when the 5's where on clearance last year.
(The 7's looked like the 5's I was returning so she just stuck them in the bag, $13 each HA!) Anyway, they suck big time.
I haven't used mine yet. I'm waiting to purchase a house and then I will install them in the shower. Hopefully with a little soap in my eyes, they will be watchable.

haha.. i hear ya.. i thought the screen suck as well.. and thought about doing the same thing as you do.. mod it in the wall somewhere. probably in front of the toilet... or something.. i missed out on PS1 LCD screen though.. they didn't have any around my K-mart.. so i'm happy for this 7 inch screen.. not bad for $26 :)
 
I bought the last one at my store less than two weeks ago, and it SUCKS. It's not even worth $26. I didn't spend much time with it, but it the colors were dark and faded, a bit like a picture left in the sun. I messed with the few options on the screen, but no improvement. The game I tried, Far Cry Instincts, was completely unplayable. Maybe a game with a darker color scheme would work better, but I don't know.

I hawked it on eBay to some sucker for $51 plus shipping.

But if you want to give it a go, I would say any TRU were the R-Zone employees don't look like gamers probably have some. And if the store is closing, 40% off. ^_~

do you know what's the quality of the 5.4 inch for pS2 i bought it for $45.. and not sure if i want to keep it.. but if its' as bad as the xbox one.. then i'll just return it and get the used PS1 screen instead.. i guess
 
I just went to my TRU and I found a PS2 one but no Xbox one. It was indeed green tagged so it is around $40. Based on the reviews that the PS2 one got, it's safe to say that it is just as bad as the Xbox one. No wonder it's so cheap.
 
seems like the best of these portable screens and cheapest ones were the psone screens which are probably impossible to find now

If you are talking about the first party PSone screens, they can be hard for $22.49 on EBGames.com after CAG15 & Edge discount. And they pop up all the time. Or you could get lucky and score one at K-Mart for $15 during their Blue Light sales. They are quite easy to find cheap, I just got one a couple weeks ago. ^_^
