Hi everyone, I just noticed that Circuit City reduced the price of the Intec Ultimate DS/GBA Case to $2.99. Online and in-store pickup.

It's $7.99 just about everywhere else (well, at amazon).

It is an all plastic case that holds 8 DS games and 3 GBA games along with a DS battery.

My overall review is that it is OK if you need to store a bunch of games, but it can be difficult to remove the games from the holder once they are inserted. I would've been disappointed if I paid $7.99. For regular traveling, I still prefer these:

When you say it's difficult to remove the games, that means they snap in? Does taking them in and out scuff up the games?

Hi wubb...

The games do snap in quite easily. Removing them takes a *little* more force than I'm usually comfortable with, but it doesn't muck up the carts.

If anyone has a source for DS cases for less than 0.37 per game, please post here.

Looks good for $2.99. My DS case holds 9 DS games along with the system and charger along with some GBA games since I figured I would never get 9 DS games, but it's full (thanks to all the awesome clearance deals over the past year)

Hmm...it was easier to think about a case when you have 2304927834 GBA games as they at least take up some physical space, but man...a DS game collection is like, I don't know...a collection of listerine strips

I'm afraid I would sneeze while I was transfering them from the case and lose them forever!!!

I picked up this Pelican case at Radioshack that has been on clearance for something like $2.97. It holds the DS (including the Lite) and up to 7 DS games. It can hold two GBA games, but that will limit your storage to 3 DS games.

It can't hold the power adapter, but it holds the system, and for that price, it is a pretty awesome deal. It is kind of big, but hey, I needed a cheap case for my DS Lite. I hated having to bring all my game cases and not have my DS Lite in one place.

I have that case too and I use it for day-to-day carrying of my DSlite and a bunch of games. It is really thick though so I think you could fit the power adaptor in there if you tried. There's another thread about that Pelican case deal so check there for more opinions.
