Interesting Article

cool

Though old, the Yosuke Hayashi interview that was linked from the interview was nice to read too lol

We’ve made a couple of devkits smoke, but we haven’t had any actually blow up yet.

......

I think all those developers who are saying, “We don’t want to do a PS3 game,” or “It’s really difficult to do it,” should shut up and make their games. If you have time to complain about it, then you should be spending your time working on getting the most from the hardware. It’s really about, at the end of the day, showing what we can do as developers. Nobody is forcing us, nobody is saying, “You have to develop for the PS3.” We’re doing it because we want to, and because we know that there are people out there who have PS3s, and if we can get them to play our game then our goal is accomplished. We’d like to have Ninja Gaiden Sigma not only be a great game for the consumer but also as a message to the industry, to say, “Look, this can be done in 2007 on this hardware.” Hopefully, that can throw out a beacon for the rest of the industry.

Wow, awesome article... i knew it since the beginning of the news that PS3 is a pain-in-the-ass to code for...

Developers just being lazy :)

They just want to port over the 360 games to PS3 painlessly... It turns out, it's the other way around, heehee, this means the PS3 is a more powerful machine than the 360. Yeah yeah, save the comments of graphics and what not, but the power of the cell and BR capacity are in the PS3, not the 360.

I'm not saying the 360 is a bad machine, i'm just saying, finally we're seeing proves that the PS3 is superior console hardware-wise.

If that's the trend, most likely we will see games on the PS3 first and the "tailored" version on the 360. By tailored, i meant, minus the Sixaxis functionality and what nots. In the best scenario for PS3, the games might not even port over to the 360 due to the cell's usage...

This is all just part of the Sony conspiracy to spread lies about it's system. I have a PS3--there's a hamster on a wheel and tiny hydroelectric dam inside, which act as processor and gpu respectively. There's also a hamster that memorizes everything and if I know anything about hamsters, he's only equivalent to like 1mb of RAM. $599...FOR THIS? I could've made my own from scratch.

The PS3 doesn't have any power and the cell is a lie that is prolonged by Sony fanboys and Ken Kutaragi with the intent to give 360 owners buyer's remorse. Don't buy into it.

Blast Processing: NEVAR FORGET.

(cool article :) )

Man, i can't wait to the the faces of those PS3 haters when more and more games utilizing the processing power of the cell come out.

See, i know i made a good decision when i was debating a 360 or PS3. Heehee, looks like the PS3 is gaining ground.

Oh, i'm glad i got the console with the hamster, at least it's alive and it's going to be alive for a long time.

I wouldn't take this article to heart. It's hard to believe a developer who has an exclusive title on the way for the PS3 talk about the PS3s strengths. I'm not going to dismiss it either, but better to hear from a wider range of developers.
