Internet Porn: Worse than crack?

Why is your link for posting a new topic? Just what in the blue hell is this all about?

I'd say its a bit of a strech to compare porn to crack, seeing as crack can kill you and I've never known anyone to die from porn. Although I'm sure some old guy with a bad heart has done it.

Thats just bs. Porn offers a way to relieve stress. Isn't a little bit of porn every now and then good for you? Porn doesn't turn people into criminals, crack does. What medical problems does porn give you? Few to none. How many does crack give you? Alot. lol Kaw, where'd you get that smiley?
That reminds me I've been meaning to look at some porn.
Interesting :whistle2:k

So internet porn is as addictive as crack and talking about internet porn leads to more internet porn use so by creating this thread somone is trying to create more porn addicts!

Oh No!!! My evil plan has been figured out!!!!!

:)

Anything carried to excess can cause psychological problems, and compulsive behavior can be driven by anything that gets your endorphins flowing in the ol' noggin. However, the average person wasn't adversely effected by drastically increased convenience in shopping which online retail offered when it first became widespread. Same goes for gambling, which has also been delivered to the masses in the privacy of their own homes via the internet. I'm sure that some people *have* gone overboard with shopping, gambling, and ogling at pornography, though...and that the number of people who cross that threshold of wellness is larger now than that seen in days before the internet pandereed to the public in so many ways.

However, the warnings listed in that article seem very dire. Pedophilia? Is THAT why there seem to be so many of those fools cropping up nowadays? I've wondered why that was. Misogyny, too. It leads to men hating women? How odd. I don't see any obvious reason for that. And erectile dysfunction? Hmm....well, I guess I could see that. Overkill, as it were. Then again....you don't get a whole lot of grant funding with moderate language. You need shocking language, to get those grant approval committees....um.....excited.

'Pornography really does, unlike other addictions, biologically cause direct release of the most perfect addictive substance,[...]masturbation.."

OH man. Classic, total classic.

This is just another example of the right wing trying to place it's morality in my living room...or my computer room in this case.

Porn is worse than crack...yeah, well I don't think so. People get more stupid every minute.

On an unrelated note...I love teh subs!!!!

You know I was just thinking about this and the statement "worse than crack" implies they would prefer their children do crack instead of look up internet porn. I'm not a family man, but that seems like really mixed up values to me.

The new republic supports sexual relations as long as the end goal is producing more fine young soldiers that support the purposes of the fartherland.

Opaque white sheets with holes in the middle will be distributed free of charge to every citizen couple, so that copulation can take place without committing the sin of lust.

Pursuant to Minisitry of Truth's leader Mike Powell, speaking the phrases on this list is now considered a crime against the state:

Big 'Uns
Pitching a tent... in my pants!!!
Those puppies are gonna give her back trouble
I have no personal crack experience, but I have to say CAG is worse than porn in terms of addiction.
Isn't that the truth. 8)

"Jeffrey Satinover, a psychiatrist and advisor to the National Association for Research and Therapy of Homosexuality echoed Layden's concern about the internet and the somatic effects of pornography. "

Having these guys speak for their cause makes it even less credible. I thought that the idea that homosexuals can be "re-educated" was cast aside long ago, guess I was wrong.

I don't know, I highly doubt I'll ever be sucking dick for porn...

Ever since I got to college, I've quit internet porn. Boy. it's been a long 2 months....
Just send an addict to tubgirl. That'll cure 'em up sumthin' fierce.
Please don't ever mention that again. I got lured into Googling "Tubgirl" and I was scarred for days on end.

That's great. And with all the porn threads on CAG, that should be a smiley.

#-o Man, that had to be the WORSE 3 minutes of my life. I think I lost more brain cells reading that article than viewing internet porn. First off, as was said before, anything in excess is bad - the whole idea that eating chocolate all day is bad for you. That's an easy analogy to make. What IS stupid however is how they associate this w/ maligned lifestyles such as pedophilia. I would rather that a pedo looks at a picture than actually go out and do said act on the picture. I'd rather have a necrophile get off on a pic in the privacy of his house than have him dig up my grandmother's corpse cuz he thought, 'dang that's one hot lookin' bitch'. Of course, I'd rather they not look at the pictures either but it's a 'devil you know, devil you don't' scenario. Secondly, what kind of fucked up values does this say about our legislative branch and its subcommittees when these politicians would consider masturbation a greater evil than internet porn. Lastly, I would think internet porn would be beneficial for erectile dysfunction. I mean, if you couldn't get off on something in the vast cornucopia of internet porn, wouldn't THEN you have erectile dysfunction?? Man, if we keep allowing stupid people to breed, then humanity will be (if not already) doomed.

Okay....I'm thinking the only way to forget what I just saw is to experience a terrific amount of pain....I've narrowed my choices down to "swirling acid soaked cutips in my retinas" and "watching house of 1000 corpses".....Man, I hate decisions.....

No way man, goatse was the initiation of old school net addicts. The new people have Tubgirl.

Thankfully I haven't seen Tubgirl...though I got hit by Goatse a bazillion tiimes back in the day.

Oh, and all of you people going off on the Quizno's Subs guys earlier in the thread....http://www.rathergood.com/moon_song/, that's the original thing they came from.
