Intruder watches TV, gets punched, gets arrested

You think the local news link would have video to the story. It's laughable. The news story had him playing piano in the house, and quoting the intruder with "He said he came in because the mat said Welcome and it was halloween"

The reported then clarified that the families mat, did not say welcome. It said nothing at all. And her closing remarks. "Oh, what a spooky halloween story."

Perhaps you have never seen this. The first time I saw this I was like 13.


When I was 16 my mom went to visit my brother in Austin about an 1.5 hours away from where I grew up. I was home alone and some drunk guy tried to climb into the window over the kitchen sink. I broke the broke the broom handle over his head and he fell onto the patio and laid there until the police arrived. The guy is lucky I grabbed that instead of a knife.
