I'm going to start school here again this fall and was looking to get either the iPad 2 or an Android tablet. I'm going to use it for mostly school for digital book and note taking. Now for the Android is their one that will be great for school, gaming and I could use a micro SD card for? Over all I would love to have one just like my phone(HTC EVO 4g) but bigger! Thanks for your help in anyway possible.

Most mobile heads don't read they just look for logos.

Was at GS yesterday and played around with a ASUS transformer and Acer Iconia A200. The Asus screen looks much better but the Acer is good too. I've been looking for a cheap Acer A500 since I hear it has 4.0 ICS update and is pretty cheap now too.

Best tip you'll ever get when asking about which tablet to get for school. NONE.

I suggest trying to take notes on your iPhone or android phone for a whole week, then next week use a laptop. I guarantee that your iPhone can do just as much or 99% of the stuff iPads can do.

You might think tablets are more convenient but they aren't, you can't do half the stuff most classes would ask for unless you're in elementary LOL The only thing you could really do on an iPad or other tablet is notes but if you want to edit documents and do homeward on your iPad or tablet, you better think twice. If they do work, expect to take twice as much time doing it compared to a laptop.

I love MacBooks but i HATE apples tablets, they are just an oversized iPhone.Tablets are useless IMO, sure they look "good" but they are horrible for school.

Most of the workers at G4 work for peanuts. I would not heed their advice.
