iPod Apps for toddlers?

Showa50

CAGiversary!
I'm looking for some good iPod apps for a 2yr-old. I recall Cheapy mentioning one he likes for his son but don't remember the name.

Any suggestions/tips on accessories for helping the iPod live as long as possible in the hands of a toddler would be great. I'm also looking for some type of speaker that can attach to the iPod.

your trusting a 2 year old with a ipod ?...

anyways...there are multiple child related books on the appstore ( yes I know they are books not games but atleast they are learning ).

umm the grinch stole christmas is one of the book :D

This way lies madness. You can pick up a used GBA and some games for next to nothing and not care if it gets destroyed.

That's true. I've seen some places selling them for as low as $5 with games for .50 cents.

Yeah I know it sounds kind of risky, but I think the opportunity for my son to lean and interact with a computer is worth the risk. With a good case I don't think I have to worry too much about it getting damaged.
If he does DOA it I can return it, come up with some lame story, and get a new one from the store. The only thing I have to watch out for is that he doesn't put it in his mouth too much to turn the moisture sensor pink.

I do have one. But I think the buttons are too far apart for him, and too hard to press. Playing games on a GBA are quite complicated mechanically for a toddler. Plus it doesn't play movies.

Lol. My girlfriend and I have been handing our iPhones to our kid since before he was 2, he's 3 now, he's got his own folder with his own games.

Actually, there are a whole bunch of cartoons you can get on GBA cartridge, put out by Majesco. Things like SpongeBob Squarepants. They turn up pretty cheap.

I have a nephew who was playing Super Mario Bros. on the NES when he was barely three.

I have something called Toddler Lock on the Android. Its responsive to touch and displays shapes and lines. It locks your Android so the kid can't mess up your home screen. Its on the marketplace.

My son loves Tozzle. He is too old now for Peek-a-boo Barn but he loved it when he was your kid's age. There's also the Wheels on the Bus. I've heard good things about Itsy Bitsy Spider but he hasn't played it.
