iPod nano question

Hey,
Anyone out there help me out ? 2 days before Christmas, I bought my lady an iPod nano. I didn't realize it until today that you can record with it. She goes to school 3 night per week, this would be GREAT for her to record lectures.
I can't seem to find any microphones at the big sites (BB,CC,etc.), any recommendations as to where I might find one at a B & M store preferrably under $30 ?

There is a 40% off coupon for Borders that expires today.. You could find some decent over priced ipod stuff for a few bucks off.
