iPod price help!

Someone wants to buy my iPod (32gb 3rd generation)(the condition is excellent no scratches on it) that comes with a 40 dollar case for 190 dollars. I just wanted to know if the price is about right? I'm not sure what forum to post in so I posted here! Thanks for your help!

Is it an iPod touch? or an old iPod with the click wheel?

I'd look at eBay completed listings for comparable prices for whatever you'd want to sell, and go from there with the pricing.

If it's a 3rd Gen Ipod Touch 32GB I'd say $190 sounds about right for that. At least if your looking to sell I'd be happy with getting that price for it used.

A new 4th gen 8 GB can be had for $200 or so new and sometimes with a $25 Giftcard at the right retailer.

Yeah I wouldn't worry about adding in that $40 case protector, I'd just be happy to get the $190 but I guess it's back to looking for a new buyer again.

I think that would have been a good price if the guy hadn't ducked out.
You would have been cutting him a good deal and been getting a good amount of money back yourself.
