I noticed that when I saved an item in my cart at the apple store (.com), but didn't purchase, I got a call two days later from an apple rep offerring a discount on the item if i purchased that day. I should've allowed the guy to pitch me exactly what the discount would be, but for whatever reason I didn't--doh.
