Iraqi Hurls Shoe at President Bush (and Misses)
How could have Bush NOT been expecting a response like this? Maybe that's how he managed to dodge them....
I don't think anybody expects that they're going to have a show thrown at them at a given point in time.

Aww jeez.
ITs good to know that Bush can dodge shoes as well as he can dodge the draft.
Kinda "2003," but still one of the better comments so far. Good job. :)

Bush is a shoe-in for the worst president in decades. Bush is such a HEEL and has no SOLE. I wish he was impeached and was given the BOOT long ago.

This is the best post so far. A+.

Nice clip. That had a lot more good info than the clip I caught of this shortly after the incident.

I wonder what will happen to the guy (they wonder about that in the clip as well) it's pretty serious IMO as the guy really whipped those shoes at Bush but I also don't think he should spend decades in jail or anything. I'd imagine a good portion of Iraqis would consider him a hero...
Clearly, President Bush is a Dodgeball fan. That's the Peekaboo defense.
Or he's been playing the Wii Fit Soccer ball balance game...

I wish i had the skills to do a Wii Fit comercial out of this...

To a certain extent:
Reaction in Iraq was swift but mixed, with some condemning the act and others applauding it. Television news stations throughout Iraq repeatedly showed footage of the incident, and newspapers carried headline stories.
In Baghdad's Shiite slum of Sadr City, supporters of radical Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr called for protests against Bush and demanded the release of the reporter. Thousands took to the streets Monday, chanting, "Bush, Bush, listen well: Two shoes on your head."
I wonder when people will realize that Bush is just a meat puppet.

And just so Conservatives don't take it to heart
I don't think Bush did it, 'cuz he isn't that smart
He's just a stupid puppet taking orders on his cell phone
From the same people that sabotaged Senator Wellstone

You know, Bush may just be silly as a leader....or rather, as a puppet for those advisors controlling him..but he's small potatoe's (deliberate) compared to Putin and Chavez. Now THOSE two are truly entertaining to watch.....

There are skills, and then there are Bush skills, which require extreme flexibility and the ability to dodge incoming footwear.
