Our package will ship out on Monday, Oct. 6, then arrived on Monday, Oct. 13, which is 10 days from now. After that, I'll ship out to all of you.
Aw, jeez, the red border is ugly, and it's on the regular DVD too. I guess I'm not upset that I decided to pass.
yeah, i was gonna get the steelbook version of the dvd and it looked even worse. just a total red border. that blue bar at the top makes it look so much better.

Did anyone know that the original price for the steelbook was $34.99, and it dropped to $29.99 by the time it was released?

Odd that the difference in price wasn't given back to the buyers, as these were supposed to be sold for cost + taxes + shipping local to him + shipping from him to the buyer.

Sounds like someone made a few bucks profit on this little endeavor, which looks like $280 from $5.00 + taxes, times 50 steelbooks.

Looks like the same oddity with the Indiana Jones BR steelbook as well. :whistle2:s

Funny. I haven't seen PiNOY since we had the added information

It's almost worth registering over at BR.com and HDD.com to warn those that might be getting taken for some extra dough.
I love that PiNOY still posts in these thread, but refuses to acknowledge the price/cost discrepancies.
Same thing happened in his thread about The Dark Knight Steelbook. Someone mentioned that he got booted from eBay, and he simply chose to ignore, despite a couple of people saying they would be interested, if he addressed the issue.

Seriously, all the signs were there that this guy was a complete douchebag, I can't believe so many people decided to deal with him.

Since he's such a scammer, why does he post out all the fees and all that crap to begin with to make it seem like he's getting us a deal, then when people point him out as scamming he ignores them? Not a good way to conduct business.. glad I got my Iron Man SteelBook on eBay through a Canadian seller.

Hey iNCREDiPiNOY, just curious when you were gonna try to get the mailed out by?
Looking forward to receiving mine.

Thanks again for organizing this.
It's obvious for he is making a profit. Why would anyone waste their time and effort?
The problem isn't that he is making a profit. The issue is that he was not truthful about it. He tried to make it seem like the folks were just paying for the product, shipping, and related fees. That, obviously, is not the case.
so then why are these threads/him still around :(
Because if they ban him now, it will be even harder for everyone to get their steelbooks.

Hey iNCREDiPiNOY, have you or have you not noticed that on the past two pages of this thread, there are people accusing you of making off with $5 extra from each buyer? Maybe you should respond to that.

Or maybe one of you buyers should open a complaint with paypal or whatever method you used to pay him, and see if that gets his attention.

Look, I'm not making any profit. I just need to buy some stuff for packing and shipping. I understand that buyers want the $5 refund, but nobody ask for it. Thats why I need to buy some protection care (Cardboard Mailer, Bubble Wrap, Fragile Stickers & Plastic Roll Tapes) to prevents scratch and dent. My supplier & I agreed to switch to Canada UPS Ground which cost me more than Canada Post, so we can get it for less than a week.

So, you decided how to spend their extra $5?

You agreed to sell them for a certain amount, based on them being $35 plus taxes and shipping. That's how much each person paid. Then, your costs went down $5 per copy, after they paid you the prior amount, which was based on them being $35.

No matter how you slice it, it sounds like you owe $5 back to anyone who asks for it.

Youre going to tell me you need money for mailers (10 packs at walgreens/walmart for 2 bucks), tape (1 buck for two big packs), fragile stickers? REALLY? and bubble wrap? REALLY??

You can get all that for five bucks, maybe six. You DO profit off of these, and you have every damn time, and for u to come in here and deny it is a damn joke.

Someone did ask for their $5 back at DVD Talk and you reported them or something because now their post is magically deleted.. so it sounds to me you know you're not really doing much of anyone a favor and are ripping people off..

Not for nothing, but if you're doing this a lot...and apparently you are...you can get all of those shipping supplies in a bulk for next to nothing. People shouldn't be charged $5 for a box, some bubble wrap, and a few pieces of tape. And fragile stickers? Come on. You were just looking for things to pad your post with there, my friend.

And, at the end of the day, as the above poster said, none of this was mentioned originally. You had price, shipping, and fees. Now, after the price drops, you inserted handling and supplies to cover the $5 you owe everyone.

Hey. I just thought I would throw my 2 cents in. iNCREDiPiNOY refunded my 5$ and I thought was incredibly easy to deal with. He responded to all of my PMs immediately. Furthermore, he shipped the Iron Man steelbook quickly and it was packaged very well. Despite all the panicking on the previous page, he is no scammer. Just my opinion.

You might have gotten lucky. Be glad that you got it. You probably only got it because of all of these comments and concerns that have arisen. BTW did your package have "Fragile" Stickers on them and was there any sign of "Bubble Wrap"? ;)

Hmmm, I don't know if we were pegging him as a scammer. He's certainly dishonest, though, and a bit shady. In another thread, someone said that his eBay account was shut down, because he backed out of a bunch of auctions where Wii Fits that he got a hold of didn't sell for what he wanted. And here, it's obvious that he was inflating the cost of the items.

Its not the Wii Fit, its the Rock Band Wii Bundles. It was an early start because its too early to sell on eBay. Thats why the final bid is lower than the retail price (was $169.99) and now its $139.99 after a 2 weeks pricedrop.

Yesterday I received an e-mail offering to refund $5 for the steelbook I bought. I answered back today and right away I received my refund back by paypal. I also received my package as promised.

This has been my only transaction with him, but it's been a good one.

Thanks!

Regardless what it was. I think we need to cut back on the Steelbook threads and let this settle down before you keep asking for money from people.
