Is Bestbuy Gamers Club Unlocked Membership worth it?

I just let my gamestop powerup rewards expire and wanted to see if others like this or there are any alternatives.

It depends how many games you buy a year, if you buy games day one at full price three times over the course of your membership it's worth it. If you wait for sales, it's still worth it but you need to buy more games. I'm not disappointed in my membership.

I only buy games under $20 before GCU, and I hit the $60 savings mark in 6 months. Now that it's only $30, c'mon!

New releases at $48, plus a reasonable chance at getting an additional $10 Reward Zone certificate with a pre-order. 

Do that three times on a new release and you've just paid for the membership, if you've done nothing else.

I rarely buy any games except at Best Buy for the reason of GCU.   During BF, I picked up 9-10 games, all 20% off of the BF prices, which was a no-brainer to do.
