Is Contra:Shattered Soldier worth $14.50?

I saw it used at a pawn shop, and it was $14.50, so I put it on hold. I heard it was good, and I've never seen it in a store up until now.

Is it good, rare, and worth the money?

I bought it brand new when it came out and never regretted it. 14.50 looks to be a really good price to me.

Well, I don't have an edge card.

But yeah, I think I'll pass on Contra. The case is in bad condition, and the bottom of the disc is kinda scratched. But whatever.

Good thing I didn't buy it, otherwise I couldn't have returned it. I'm sure its fun, but $14.50 is a bit too much for me right now, since I'm saving up money for other games to buy and blah blah.
