is mass effect ce worth buying...

I was looking forward to ME for a long time (big Old Republic fan) and had the Collector's Edition pre-ordered since around the time it was announced. Generally, I am greatly disappoined by the more expensive editions, but this one is pretty good. The tin's artwork is good, the galactic codex book adds to the storyline, and the artwork is interesting.
 
Yeah, I'd say it's worth it. The second disc has about 10 gamerpics and 4 themes on it and actually has some bonus features that are worth watching.
