Is ME2 releasing early?

I just checked Amazon.com and it says it's releasing 31st January 2011. On the UK site it says the 21st January 2011, so no I don't think it's coming in early!

The host on the most recent episode of the Active Time Babble RPG podcast over on 1up.com mentioned that it had already gone gold - maybe an end-of-December release could happen. It happened with Final Fantasy X back in the day.
 
I dont know about releasing early, but Gametrailers had an article about how it is using the ME3 engine, so the PS3 version of ME2 is the "definitive" version. I always wanted to try ME but never bought a 360, so I am excited for this game since ME2 is supposed to be even better. Of course I will wait for it to drop to $20 or so due to my backlog.
