Is my 3DS XL resealed?

I bought a 3DS XL at BB when it was on sale. However, on the side of the XL's box where it's sealed with 2 circular stickers, the circular stickers were cut and another 2 circular stickers were placed over in identical fashion.

I have seen 360s like this where the original circular sticker was cut and games were put in (360s bundled with games). Then another circular sticker is placed over.

Is this a "used" XL or a brand new (but resealed) one?

Don't open it, and go back to BB and ask for a different one..

Stores have the same stickers to replace if they accidentally open apart or gotten cut in unpacking. But if you are here asking about it, you should definitely swap it for another one.

Do they allow me to swap it out for another one, seeing as how I got it on sale, and they have different serial numbers and all...?

As long as it's the same SKU (same model/color/etc), then yes, you just exchange it.
