A little history: I bought an Acer Al2223W a while back when BB had them for $190. I didn't have any reason to need HDCP compliance, but I thought I remembered seeing it on the box.

Fast forward to last thursday when I bought the 360 Add-on hd-dvd drive, and then a video card to be able to use it. I get it all set up and... epic fail. Needs HDCP, it says.

Everything on the internet says this is HDCP; can't find one item on google saying otherwise. Unfortunately most links go to store fronts. :p
I can't find the box but the manual on the CD says it's HDCP.

Does anyone know the answers to these questions:
Are some AL2223W's not HDCP?
Is there a way to TURN ON HDCP?
Do I need a different kind of DVI cable?

Otherwise looks like I'm going VGA until I get a new monitor. And this one was a big leap for me.
