So i'm about to ship a box to a person but the shipping is pretty high if i choose priority mail, so i was wondering if there's another option that i don't know about.

The box contains mainly video game systems and a few games.

thank you.

Parcel is the cheapest, but the slowest. Although I'm really not sure how it compares price wise to Priority when it's a huge box.

Parcel is actually a lot cheaper, almost $10 cheaper which in my case is great.

I also checked UPS ground it from the number they gave me is also cheaper than Priority, about $8 dollars less.

Now i know i have a few more options for when shipping boxes, thank you very much. Parcel will really come in handy when shipping heavy boxes.

thank you.

Once you exceed what will fit in a Flat Rate Large box, the USPS is overpriced and not reliable compared to UPS and FedEx

USP Ground or FedEx Home Delivery are the least expensive options for that size/weight going to a residence in the US.

You still get tracking and basic ($100, I think) insurance and can upgrade insurance to match value.

Best of luck.

Sometimes it depends too. If you're only shipping something fairly nearby (like within a few states), Priority will be cheaper than Parcel. But for cross-country shipments, Parcel is the cheapest as far as I know.

Just be careful when mailing parcel post, as it only covers shipping one way, where the other shipping methods cover it both ways. Like if somebody accidentally gives you the wrong addy or something and the package comes back to you, you will have postage owed before you get the package back.

Granted, I rarely ship anything over a pound, but usually Priority is cheaper for me. Though the difference is only a few dollars for me.
