Is psn extremely slow for anyone else?

I've never seen it this slow before. Its like it completely stops and doesn't do anything... I'm taking about downloading games. I was able to play games fine online, but downloading something....phew.

I thought at first maybe my internet was acting up. So I tried downloading a demo on xbl and it was extremely fast. Then I go back to psn and its slow as .

It could just be the psn server especially during times when everyone is downloading at once.

It also depends on what you're downloading. They're not all housed on the same server and some games definitely DL faster than others

I downloaded the full 7gb patch to GT5 this morning and it took less than an hour. I think it really depends on your content.

Mines been slow bad, Im in WA. I have a 9gb game and have about 12 hours on downloading it and its only 73%. My updates are fast though, just the downloading games part is slow.

I was downloading 15gb two or so days ago.
Yes it was inFamous 2
I can not say how long it took but it took a while. i know it was not no more than 3 hours but then again...
it WAS 15 gb.

I had to also wait for the installation but that is another irrelevant story. #

PSN has been fine.
Modern Warefare 2 has been a bit choppy here and there and everyone has good connections. (weird)

It must have been the game only. Arcana Heart 3 took me forever to download. Then I got Beyond Good And Evil. It went insanely fast.

I didn't have lag when I played games online either. It seemed to just be downloads, but after testing a few. It was just Arcana Heart 3.
