I just got this in my email for my PSN name. Everyone did, it's the new policy changes and procedures with using the PS3


It actually says in one section you can not exchange names or any personal information other than your gamer tag or psn name haha. I know some people personally I guess I can't tell them who I am and need to be anonymous when using my PS3. But then it also goes into sub accounts and info sharing and all. I dunno I thought it was interesting

im not against it. like tc said its just them covering their asses so if someone does do this and someone gets hurt due to it they can say "hey we have it written they they arent supposed to so if they did it anyway its not our fault".

hell that should be common sense nowdays with all the nutters and pervs on the net but theres enough idiots in the world left who would and do willingly give their info to strangers on the net without considering the consequences.

it could also be their way to get out of having to reimburse people who account share games and what not when they get scammed.

Cougars try to pick up people off of XBL? Damn. I'm on the wrong system then. :lol:

Anyway, the only thing I disagree with Sony on as of now is the firmware bullshit. Every update(just about) has been mandatory and if you don't do it you either have to use some sort of proxy set up to get on PSN or forgo online gaming at all.
