Is that Duck Amuck game for the DS worthwhile?

I searched for a dedicated thread but didn't see one. When I heard the idea of this game I thought it sounded awesome, but it seemed to come and go pretty quickly.

I've glanced over reviews, which seem to generally fall in the noncommittal "7" range. I'm looking for real-world feedback. Is it too short like I've seen in the reviews? Is it too "kiddy" even for something based off a cartoon?

The "novelty" of the game really won't entertain you past the second hour. It is indeed short with no worthwhile goals to work towards. The mini-games are amusing the first time or two, but the lasting appeal isn't there.

Yeah, I played it at my cousin's house. I was kinda psyched, esp. after 1up talked up the "daffy on a white background" interface as being really interesting. It's not that cool.

In the end it's just a minigame collection, and the "mess with daffy" aspect is pretty limited in my brief experience. One telling detail is that it's not a 3D model of daffy, it's canned 2D animation, so all you can do is trigger pre-defined reactions from him.

I should say that i really only played two of the minigames, though.

Seems like one of those games that would be worth getting when it's under 10 dollars but is too much of a novelty to buy at full price. Kind of like Feel the Magic and Pac N Roll.
