Is the 120 GB HD really necessary?

Another vote for 120gb... I was consistently running my old drive down to 1.5gb or less. The bigger drive affords the luxury of d/l'ing however many demos and interesting free media content that you want and enjoying them at your leisure.

I used to hassle over deleting stuff and settling on the 480p version of content to save space. Now I just load up a pile of d/l's and let them roll through over night without worrying about it.

Lazy? Maybe. But it's an awfully nice luxury to have, especially considering some of the upcoming titles and the inevitable crush of d/l content that will come with them.

I got the 60gb.

Seems like enough to me.

The 360's 20gb ain't enough, that's for sure.

I only have one demo, and a ton of arcade titles, and I'm down to 4gb.

There's a 60GB?
It's not going to be long before I'll need to look at getting the 120 gb drive, and the headache of transfering data that will come with it.
How do you transfer?

With the transfer cable provided with the 120GB HDD purchased at retail, or the free one MS gives you if you buy an Elite and mail in a form (still need to do that, damn!)

I was talking about that Triple.

Mysteriously, I posted that, thinking this was the PS3 board.

Weird.
